Thank you so much! Walmart! I love these better than the kind with bristles. Less chance of the “hair” falling out. I also use a squeeze bottle sometimes. Depends on the type of cake. Hope this helps!
I used my normal vanilla buttercream recipe (there is a video for it) added a tiny bit of cocoa powder for color and added straight Hennessy little by little. You don’t want to overpower it. I did not add Hennessy for the cake batter but I did make a simple syrup with Hennessy in it to drizzle on the cake layers. Hope this helps!
Absolutely! The Hennessy bottles I bought at my local liquor store. Here is the link for the pipettes. Yes! I like to freeze the cake layers a little before stacking. Then I do a crumb coat and back in the freezer. Then I do a final coat of buttercream and back in the freezer for 20-30 min before I use a hot scrapper to make it extra smooth. 😊 hope this helps!
Hi is that a specific type of buttercream? Like is it a Hennessy buttercream or plain buttercream? It looks absolutely 😍 beautiful. Oh and that's caramel drip right? I know i asked a lot of questions lol 🤗❤
Hi! Thank you! It starts out as my vanilla buttercream. Then I added a small amount of cocoa powder and Hennessy simple syrup. I’m sorry I don’t have exact measurements. I kinda just did by taste.
I actually got a request to do this cake for a freinds birthday, it would be awsome if you can give me tips cause this would be my first alchol cake, also this is funny but my name is also christina lol thats so funny !
To help smooth out the buttercream, I boil water and dip my scraper into the water, wipe it off and scrape on a very chilled cake. I like to put the cake in the freezer for like 30 min. Hope this helps!
You’re absolutely right! This was my first video. I’m still new at this. It was meant to show how I decorated it, not the recipe. But if you have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer. 😊
This cake gives me life😍😍😍
So pretty!
@Christina Lewis Looks amazing! Where did you get your silicone brush you used for the simple syrup?

How did you make your butter cream and did you add henessey to the cake mix?

Hey, did you use 2 or 3 inch high cake pans for this?
I used 2 inch pans. 😊
What chocolate and Carmel sauce did you use for the drips?
I used chocolate ganache drip (1:1 semi-sweet choc. to hvy whipping crm) and homemade salted caramel sauce.
Preciosa!
Can you send the link for the small Hennessy bottles and the pipettes? That would be very helpful. Thank you.

Can you make a video of your cocoa butter cream recipe and also the drip chocolate ganache?
The cake truly looks amazing.❤️
@rashmi yes! I will be making new videos soon. I know haven’t made any in a very long time. I’ll add these to my list.

Hello, have you tried the steaming technique with whipped ganache? :)
No I haven’t! Sounds interesting!
@@cshort092685 I only worked with ganache. Haven't tried buttercream coz climate here is too hot 😅
What were you brushing on the cake? Water?
Simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar) with a little Hennessy added. I let the alcohol cook out so it’s just the flavor left.
So you heat up the Hennessey first before adding to the syrup? If so for how long?
Is it butter icing or whip cream
It is buttercream.
Which nozzle do u need to do this.and wt is tht yellow topping thing.
For the swirl on top, I uses a Wilton 1M tip. As for the yellow thing, are you referring to the happy birthday topper?
No darling like capsule thinh
@@nawodiwendabona1518 those are pipettes filled with Hennessy
@@cshort092685 thanks darl
What size hennesy bottles are those
I believe they are 50ml. It’s the mini bottles
What kind of frosting did you use?
This was a light cocoa buttercream with a splash of Hennessy in it so it doesn’t over power it.
@@cshort092685 thanks for the reply i love the vid
I’m hoping to add more videos. Just been so busy with cake orders. Lol. Thank you so much for watching 😊

How many ML are the pipettes?
I looked for the original packaging and could not find it. If I had to guess it’s about 2 tsp.
