That wasn’t a criticism. They’re noctural hunters in the wild, with cyprichromis as their primary food source. Be interesting if that instinct was lost in tank raised fish 🤷🏻♂️
@@danieltaylor757 Wasn’t taken as criticism. I’ve watched the female Frontosa protect the Leleupi fry. I wouldn’t say the instinct is lost, but it is definitely something that goes away when fed nothing but a high quality pellet diet. We have Oscar that won’t predate on small tank mates also.
This is like my dream tank, frontosa, of all the fish I’ve kept over the years I’ve never had a frontosa, but I did just get a 220 gallon tank and the reason I got it was so I could finally get some frontosa , but I kinda do want to do a tanganyika tank
I am trying to do the exact same set up in my 180, my fronts were in a 90 gallon by themselves and now I added them to the 180 and the same time , I added some Julie’s and brichardies as well. I have only 1 brichardie left and have lost 2 Julie’s, not sure if it’s because it’s a new set up or my fronts are causing some damage
love the stone, great looking aquarium!
Stunning tank and beautiful Leluepi and Fronts. Thank you for the inspiration. Currently running a tank with Leluepi and loving it.
Nice video
Awesome scape and i love the variety. Very nice 🤌
Beautiful! And everyone seems to get along, awesome!
Very nice mate. Looks like your lelupi are making lots of snacks for your your fronts! Love the black basalt stone. Very nice set up
The Frontosa have all grown up around the leleupi. They’ve never had live food, and I’ve never seen any feasting going on, or fry numbers changing.

Gotcha. No need to waste energy chasing fish around if all your caloric needs are met 😋

สวัสดีครับ❤
How big is this tank? It’s absolutely amazing ❤😊
Thank you! It’s a 72” 125 gallon.
@@jwilcox absolutely stunning. Nice work and may become an inspiration for a Frontosa Centric Tanganikyan tank down the road
@jwilcox - great tank! Which Seiryu stones did you use for the scape?
A friend had a ton of it set back. He gifted it to us.
Mis peces favoritos ❤❤❤❤❤

The fronts grew up with the leleupi from very young. My guess is that’s how I’ve been lucky to keep the little with the bigs.
Very nice, that male frontosa is a beast.
What is the plant in the center of tank
A fake plant from universal rocks.
