I think you’re absolutely right that a more simple design will show off the beautiful yarn. The Lakes V neck will look awesome! Can’t wait to see your progress😊

I’m excited to see what you come up with. I also agree about pattern inclusivity. Great on you for mentioning it ❤. You have a wonderful presence ignore the negative hot heads😂

I just finished knitting the stripe overload polo and it has a great fit! The sleeves were a little long for my taste, but that's easy to adjust. I've seen a few stripe-less stripe overloads and they look very cool and classic :) I enjoyed this pattern roundup, Kakigori is a bucket-list yarn for me, and your swatch is beautiful!

I usually enjoy watching random knitting podcasts but could only make it to 3:16 on this one. First the pronunciation of the yarn is an abomination but worse is the pattern size shaming. Don't expect other cultures to bend to your body standards in the West and immediately knock the pattern because of it. You clearly don't understand East Asian culture and I would suggest to not apply the same standards to it. One size fits all is very common here and people take care in maintaining a slim figure and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Please be respectful and stop expecting the rest of the world to bend to your ideals.
