I tend to be a bracelet lover as they manage water and sweat without difficulty, but your favourite strap certainly makes that watch look like a million dollars! A great review of a very impressive watch. I may just indulge myself and purchase one. 😁
I will continue trying to find images/videos of this watch with the sapphire crystal to see if it has a lower profile than this mineral version. I own the old WD1960S with the gilt hands and it is my favourite new watch and want to see if it is worth paying $100 to upgrade to this new piece. The only fault with the 1960S was the poor brushing of the case and bracelet, I never had a problem with the old logo.
Good quality. I'd take one but only if they will add on fly adjustable clasp. This micro adjustment holes big no now for me. Looks like 80-90s. Btw very nice logo change.
Indeed, I have a 7.30-inch wrist, but even this 37 mm would do because I have the Addiesdive Dune dial and the 36 mm with those long lugs makes the watch a little bit bigger.
Nice watch, but there is one big flaw - the minute hand is much thicker than the hour hand. Look at the Rolex Explorer or even the homage Baltany watch, they both have very normal proportions between the two hands. It's as if they went into the parts bin and found two hands from different watches and put them together. Shame, because the rest of it looks great.
hm, I actually like that thick minute hand. It does not look out of place to my eyes. And I like how light rolls on it. Depends on your preferences I guess..
I also paid attention to this. I think that "Mercedes logo ring" (or whatever it's called) kinda balances out difference, at least, without ring hour hand couldn't draw attention and would get lost. Now watch makes quite easy to read minutes - it's a personal preference of every watch user, whether he like accent on minutes, hours or balanced hour/minutes view. Interesting, how this watch would look with hour hand shaped like minute hand (width to match hour indices, hours for hours), but shorter and minute hand a but visually lighter? Though, I like how pointy is sword shaped minute hand - not so brutal as of real dive watches, matching character of this watch (which I consider a casual timekeeper, not a diver). Let's see next iterations)

I like the new Watchdives logo. It's better than the old logo that looks like San Martin's
Great review. Proof that you don't need to spend a fortune to get a high quality watch you can enjoy.
I love this watch and am hoping for a sale soon. I already own two watches from Watchdives and have no regrets.

Cool review! I really like it!
Love the brown face-different.
I think you would enjoy even more the Baltany explorer.
Great find!
sure this watch is nice (missing the blue one tho), but where can I buy that fluffy table fur? My elbows and laptop would love it!
eh, I bought it in my local hardware store. Actually bought a bunch of them, they feel super nice :)
Who makes that suede brown leather strap at the end?

Wd1016은 사파이어와 운모중 어떤게 좋을까요
sapphire is better, always
Maybe if they did a 40mm one..

Maybe look at the baltany 39mm explorer with the sunburst brown dial
