My tendency is always to sew everything, yet sometimes because I use pipe-cleaners as stems. Although stitching is time-consuming , different techniques give very different results and compliment the art project on the whole, so wouldn't ever consider selling something like your great creation, unless I had appliqued it myself somehow.
