Please don’t put either one of them in protective custody. This little girl wasn’t protected from them they shouldn’t be protected in prison.

Well, I guess Pearl Hernandez didn't know anyone who had done this because when her fellow inmates found out that her and her boyfriend had .murdered her son, they beat the crap out of her, cut her in the face with the lid of a tin can, and poured hot scalding water on her. That's why she was placed in PC. Prison justice still takes place.

From time to time it mY he someone that was weak got dealt but most times they be cool with other inmates . People in the county are worried about getting high and people up state worried about going home

I am a survivor of severe child abuse and neglect, we have an epidemic of children dying from child abuse. our system is extremely broken and has been failing children for decades now. Because we desperately need new laws. here in Maine, we have lost 48 children in the past 2 years. I was just at the state house on the 30th talking about the changes we need to happen not next month not next year but NOW! its crazy-making

@@Wisdom24-7those two, were turned in to CPS, I think, by the school. So, they decide to pull her from school, then punish her. And, no follow up by CPS, and this happens everyday.

Humans must be mutating because clearly the instinct to raise and protect, one's young above all else is missing. There are stories like this emerging every day.
Social workers, the police and the fire department need to pay random visits to homes and be allowed to enter and search them to check for any irregularities.

I'm glad they took her 9-year-old son out of the home, but is she going to go to prison or what? She's still at home. I hope they don't put the little boy back in her home and he ends up as death #3. This kind of story makes you wonder what kind of people are working at the CPS office and are judges.

Homeschooled kids should be monitored
A requirement of being in full view with full audio, as much as possible! These crazies are using “home school” to cover abuse/neglect! Very disturbing to continue seeing these constant reports. What purpose is it serving to kill your children?! God help us!

People should stop being abusive. Homeschool isn't the problem, and often homeschool is recommended by a team of people from the child's school. Clearly they just pulled their daughter out without recommendations though. They're sick, awful "humans" 😢

There should be strict rules for "home schooling".
Each state should have parental responsibility for ensuring this and following up on home visits. As a former CPS truancy is a HUGE red flag. That child or children is being kept home for a reason. Parents need and want breaks. Especially if she is a homemaker. Also family don’t ignore red flags. Such as isolation, excuses not to attend family events, and difficulty getting into their homes. Other signs. Children dress inappropriately for the weather. Sudden changes in behavior appearance and mood. Long sleeves in the warm months. Children cower when you approach them as if you are going to hit them.
@@deniseeugene1852 from what I've been reading is he pulled her out of school after reports were made for suspected abuse. Why is it cps fails to see that kind of a situation is a huge red flag waving? A lot of these kids die within 5-6 months after being pulled from school.. some don't make it 3 months..
@@deniseeugene1852 sometimes I think it should be mandatory for cps workers to spend a lot of time on the dreamin demon forum/crimes against children and study. That should also include judges because too many of them are making careless decisions with these children, returning them to ppl they know are monsters. It's like wow, cps did their job n saved a child. Judge says we can't have that, send the child back so they keep on abusing him until they kill him. Like the little baby that was found with a fractured skull n 2 broken ankles, and later injured by the father during a supervised visit. She was beaten to death the day after the judge signed custody over to the parents. What did he think was going to happen?.
i'm in her school district, in fact, she's a grade above me, and we went to the same school. apparently, every teacher noticed her in and out of school, bruises, etc, but there wasn't enough of it to put it into a police report. the whole case was really weird, she got abused, but her brothers weren't, and sm more.
A day late and a dollar short - this is the usual failing method of social services. Freaking horrible end for that little girl.

ALL children who are being home schooled should still be checked on by the school district.
As someone that works with homeless children I’m here to tell u the schools nor district gives a darn about the well-being of their students. They only care if funding for the school is cut.

What adds to the horror, is there are several cases in the country like this. Starving, beatings, forced exercise, and SA.

When a child is pulled out of school to be home schooled, there should be CPS or some organization to personally check on the child. And not just once but multiple times. There is no excuse for this happening!
I believe in parental rights but we must have reasonable safeguards. Especially after stories like this. When kids are isolated the potential for trouble is real.

i'm a kid in scott now. yesterday, we all wore blue as a memorial for her death, i'm pretty sure you know though, and luckily, about half of scott wore blue, and all of the staff did. fly high, malinda.

Another heartbreaking story of a child suffering and dying at the hands of those who were supposed to love and protect them. Both of these adults are disgustingly fat.. They never missed any meals, but yet starved this poor little girl. The gf shouldn't have even been out in society considering what she did to those other children.

We need to put more safeguards into homeschooling. Every time the abusive parents are afraid they're going to get caught, they pull the kids out of school.

I have always said there should be some type of checks and balances when a kid is homeschooled because too many times it is a way to isolate and hide the child… so sad poor baby …
A family in my church homeschooled their kids, but they had a curricula to follow and checked in with the education board regularly to be sure the kids were keeping up. They also did a lot of extracurricular things, such as volunteering at a soup kitchen and at the civic center where canned food, and clothing, were handed out to the needy. They have done very well.
Careful when you say "always" because it diminishes your position when it it simply isn't "always" the case. Do better...

If people are allowed to homeschool, they must be required to check in with their child at a local school, CPS, hospital, or law enforcement agency every 3 months. They didn’t homeschool, they did virtual school which means teachers were seeing them daily on video in the home.

Absolutely in terms of curriculum but it was done at home. Not in a brick and mortar school building where staff can better monitor the well-being of students . The teacher cannot see the child's legs, and if kids are chained, they just need to be sitting at a table . You can't see the full body so it's not the teacher's fault. And certainly not a state of undress. I think the only solution is pop-up visits and home inspections. But it'll never happen.
