Due to an editing error at youtube, where half of the video was mute at once, I upload again this, in my eyes, beautiful video. I watched it twice again and the memories of the beautiful time in Chiang Mai came back. I miss the time and shared trips there, the food, the lively life, the city, everything....
The tour first headed southwest from Chiang Mai, then turned onto state road 1269 into the mountains to the first viewpoint. After the descent, we went to the village of Samoeng to refill drinks and eat, before heading uphill again further northwest on the 4021, where the next and at the same time steep climb was waiting.
At the northernmost point of the tour, at Wat Mae Tung Ting, we headed east into a beautiful valley. In Ban Pok we paused again and there began the beautiful lonely climb through the jungle on a small untraveled road, past Ban Pong Khrai to the steepest climb to Mon Cham. From there it was a rapid descent back to Chiang Mai.
