Guys its nice to know that you know good english but we should be grateful that sirs a good teacher and has taken trouble in sharing so much of his knowledge with us and for those interested only in english i suggest you look for lectures on shakespeare
To solve the problem of one side hearing, Go to Additional settings in the settings - click on hearing accessibility - turn on mono audio so that audio will play on both sides of the earphone.
In general we have to take cylinder specimen but Indian Standards follow Cube of same volume like the cylinder . So 150*150*150 of cube gives same volume like cylinder. But cube gives more strength than cylinder as it develops frictional forces. In general in buildings we see long beams and columns which represents cylinders and not cubes so for that reason we consider strength of concrete as 0.67fck and then we apply FOS. We are not considering fck for this reason only.
i have watched all the video of IITkhg of civil engg.. all others facuilty are very very knowledgeble and well explainer Except this one.. sorry to say he hasnt have made his presentation in effective way...wastage of time..only superficial knowledge you will get..
The professor is incapable of teaching, sorry to say. I didn't benefit anything from this lecture, but only lost my time. I thought IITs are different scene man. Disappointed!
Being an IIT professor we hope you to have very good command in English language and able to explain such a important subject of civil engineering field in an efficient way. The lecture is very average one and similar to the lecture given in any Diploma college by xyz teacher.
Thank You Teachers and the government for this effort and great initiative.
Really it is very knowledgeable above all it feels like to study in IIT, THANKS A LOT SIR
Play in 1.5x speed, the lectures will be completed in 35 min
Playing at 2x
Cant find the play speed option from app
Thanks dear ,,, for your valuable advice
1:25 is perfect
Thanks

Thanks so much sir, am enjoying your lecture here in Kampala, uganda👏👏👏
Very useful and informative,, Many thanks Prof.
Prof N.Dhang,IIT kharagpur & HRD thanks for proving knowledge on R.C.C design.

Don't forget to turn off the mono audio after watching the lectures.
Thanking you very much sir. I have learned so much from your tutorials.
sir i think slump test is used to measure workability not consistency bec consistency is amount of water present in cement motar or concrete
Bro, workability is indirectly measure.but main chriteria is consistency
Thank u so much sir . It is really helpful and understandable .
Very useful knowledge.Thanks to prof
Thanks sir, for great effort and fruitful knowledge.
its a good lecture..very informative
Sir please tell me why we usually takes 150mm*150mm*150mm
as standard size for testing the specimen under CTM

Really very knowledgeable video thanks IIT K
Prof. thank you very much with the info. now if am using SABS code from South Africa which things should I take care if I follow ur design?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us prof
Thank you professor for this class ..
I humbly thank you sir❣️
A great initiative ❤️
You are good
But why do you always use THE PARTICULAR ONE.
sir from where can i have PLAIN AND REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE COURSE ??
Sir ,why should we take strain on x - axis?
Stress/ strain gives you Young's modulus (Y). If you take reverse. When you find slope. You will get 1/Y. U can take whatever you want
@@sreenivasaraov785 i think we take those quantity on x axis which are independent
thank you
27:06 stressstrain curve
sir thank you iam from somalilad i will use my code
sir, may your knowledge has a wisdom. thanks a lot
sir why we use water in ml not in mg
Bcz water is liquid..mg is for solid objects
11:53 slump test
nice lecture sir..thanku so much
Thank you Prof
When downloaded none of this video is coming with audio
What'z the problem,plzz fix it
Lots of thanx to you.
m 15
m 20
m 25
M referring to what?
mix
mix
It refers to the grade of the concrete
Mix ratio
thanks more, professor

super class sir
sir, please us mic
thanks
just briliant
thank u sir
thanks sir
thank you sir ....
thanku sir
very good lecture

I don't know what he explained about the workability. He just repeated the definition and explained nothing.
The content is infornative but the accent is unbearable.
😂unbearable
