    I'm an American who travels in S.E. Asia quite frequently. I have quite a bit of experience with regional airlines in that area, having flown at one time or another on Vietjet, Bamboo, and Air Asia. Vietjet has constant scheduling challenges and the worst website in existence. Bamboo is nice, but its continued existence is questionable (Australians are now out of luck!) I've gotten to the point where I'll take AirAsia, if it's an option, from any airport even if I have to pay a bit more! The crews always treat me like an old friend - and I'm addicted to Uncle Chin's Chicken and Rice!
    Enjoyed your video and also watched the one about your visit to Langkawi. Very well done!

    What are the charges for excess luggage apart from check in 7kg luggage ? Please update.

    • @sublimetravels
      @sublimetravels  10 месяцев назад +2

      According to the Airasia website, for domestic flights, check baggage charges are following. 15Kg- 42.56MR, 20kg - 54.05RM, 25Kg - 66.71 RM. So if you know your excess amount exactly we, recommend to purchase checked baggage or try to limit 7kgs. Because if you end up with them weighing your bag, and it's over 7kg, you will be charged far more than these website amount to have to check it in. Sorry we don't know the exact charge for that but heard it is FAR MORE THAN. But according to our experience, they allowed us to check in free with extra 100 - 300 g per person.
