We need a big man coach which we havent had since Bernie Fine. Even Gmac in his first year as a head coach has hired a big man coach who actually played center at a very high level
We need an offensive or defensive coordinator first and not JB’s antiquated position coach system. Most programs don’t do this. Oats brought in a defensive coach/specialist this year and they are even better. UConn last year or the year before brought in an offensive innovator. A big man coach isn’t going to help a below the rim guy like Petar who shouldn’t be getting minutes on a P5 team. Lampkin has skills he’s just below the rim too. Same with Jyare. We need a complete talent and system overhaul. That’s what we need.
