      If you want me to explain in the American football clips where someone is out on the side white lines and touches the ball that would make it a dead ball because of kickoff.
      When people jump to get the ball in bounds is because if they were on the ground they’d be out of bounds.
      That’s all I can remember that I can explain :/

    • @crimsondragon9836
      @crimsondragon9836 3 года назад +17

      In many of the American Football clips, the players will step out out of bounds then touch the ball to prevent the opposite team from getting close enough to score. They also were will catch the ball before they are out of bounds so that their team will gain yardage on the other team. It depends on how close the other team is to your end zone;if they are really close to your end zone, you you need to try to get the ball out so that they will not get close enough to score. If the ball is closer to the other team’s end zone, you would usually try to catch it. Then, your team will start with the ball, and will be closer to the other team’s goal.

    3:41 played football for years...watched it even longer and this little loophole never even occurred to me, let alone ever seeing it 😂😂 pretty damn clever...I wonder if they changed that rule, I like how he made it look like an accident haha I've always wanted to see somebody "accidentally" fumble the ball forward, out of bounds, before getting tackled...risky but I guess if u need that first down 😁

    The best part about that Pittsburgh trick play is that Dallas still won that game. Their trick play ended up being not mattering, though I will admit, watching the game and feeling hopeless once they scored definitely hurt me as a Cowboys fan. It felt like it mattered then.
