@cs7285 yeah dude it arrived late because the post office sent it to Alaska first for whatever reason, but I used it today and i was extremely impressed with it. The lens really is super nice. I absolutely recommend this bundle!
Hey I was a little confused the gold welding lens is a auto darken correct? Or do I have to put the gold and clear lense together to make it a auto darken becouse I’m buying a outlaw hood soon and want a good auto darken lens that has a blue tint so far I’m stuck between this one,Rod shield blue puddle, and snake belly gold welding lens
@@30hourreview right now just stick welding that’s why I was gonna go with the SNAKEBELLY GOLD WELDING LENS that outlaw leather sells on there sight and just file down the opening for the flip up hood to fit it
@@Josephg3423 sounds like you got it figured out I believe the rod shield lens will fit no issue and it should work for stick fine if you were Tig welding I would recommend the apex lens and a helmet that fits it

I personally would go apex over rod shield lens and the welding lens is one piece you don't have to do anything to make it gold or blue

Hello I ordered an outlaw leather pancake hood do you think it’ll fit in the slot? Or do you think I should’ve gone with snake belly lense.
I think there both the same thickness and I think they will fit

Do not get snake belly lens. It’s cool for stick welding but horrible for tig.

That looks super duper dark, i just ordered one but now im concerned. Current one is HD and i can see really well with it
There is a trade off with it being blue fitting in dark spots can get tricky

The apex is really good but thick and handles Tig better
My rod shield didn't last long. The gold tint started flaking off
