If there’s one thing we can appreciate from infinite warfare, it’s the fact that the devs had quite a bit of fun making the weapons.
One of things I like about the futuristic cods is the fact that they actually create new animations and barely reuse the old ones
I like Infinite warfare because actions are happening on differfent planets and satelites. It's never getting boring
Then some years later, MW2019 comes in, saying goodbye to those atrocious CoD4 reloads that were recycled a thousand times

I do agree with certain guns like the CM901/Remington R5 though, those guns are barely related and I don’t understand why they reused the animations for that

Theres also a modified version of it, the DMR 1 and its repurposed as a sniper rifle and has a bulit in attachment that lets you reload any time u want

Honestly, this game was pretty enjoyable.
Campaign is awesome and MP is very flawed but still very enjoyable. People just hated it because of its futuristic setting. That's just sad.

All this considered, I actually really enjoyed the fact that some guns had a "second mode" to them
especially the type-2. that was such a unique weapon.
I loved the fact you can split your assault rifle in two and use them as machine pistols
I love the fact that everyone is getting uptight about the futuristic stuff even though it doesn't matter as long as you have fun
I like the design of many of these weapons. A sci-fi weapon geek can have a field day with these!

Sire The Bonchino Frags would just be really underpowered compared to the competition, along with quite a handful of the traditional grenade types like the Semtex.

I think "supressor" for it is more like loudspeaker with tighter focus than usual.

A possible solution to this is that the suppressor actually emits a cone-shaped antiphase field in front of the barrel, funneling the sound waves from the barrel to the target while muffling noise in the surrounding area.

So its a revolver..... that fires caseless rounds.......but ejects brass.
Its interesting to know that Energy Weapons of the future rely on 90's printer Cables to operate.
Also interesting is the ability to "Suppress" the sound of a Laser Rifle.
The true technological feat is how they were able to turn a single barrel, bolt action sniper rifle in a two round burst weapon without making ANY modifications to the actual gun.
Space has amazing technology.
To be honest, SDF energy weapons are jury-rigged from whatever they've had at their disposal. Volk, for instance, is Kalashnikov's frame with "guts" modified to fire energy bursts. Even the magazine of this rifle is "skeleton" of classical "banana" filled with batteries.
The thing is that Widowmaker has a certain kind of chamber stack which allows it to fire two bullets with one pull of the trigger. No need to mofidy outer parts of the weapon when the action happens inside.
And the Hailstorm uses similar technology. But it doesn't in fact eject anything. It's just an error from developers because without suppressor you don't see shells coming out and with suppressor you do. I'm not sure if this is fixed or not. Quite hard to notice.
The whole "caseless round" theory you came up with, kaptainkooleio, could explain the tech behind the Hailstorm's 3-shot burst as well as the Widowmaker's 2-shot burst, which means such weapons could be possible to manufacture. And you never know, kap, energy weapons COULD be a thing. (breeeeeeeeeeeath) HOW CAN I POSSIBLY KNOW THIS SHIT?!
The prospect of suppressing a laser weapon is stupid because in real life, a laser gun would be completely silent and would have no recoil.

2:35 notice how the FHR's magazine has a high caliber round. Looks like a 5.56. but when the shell ejects from the weapon it shows a 9mm shell casing (smaller caliber).
That's because it's probably some fictional version of the 5.7x28mm as the weapon is a fictional P90, and this 5.7 is not that much larger than a 9x19mm

I don't know where you got your info but 556 is much smaller caliber than 9mm, and if what you mean is cartridge length, it is a 5.7 round,cuz a 5.56 x 45 does not fit into a P90 mag,and the 5.7 mm round is pretty much the same length as an 9 X 19mm, so you wrote it backwards or you're just dumb

In short, 9x19 is short and wide, and 5.7x28 is thinner and longer. 5.56x45 is also thin and long, but 5.7x28 is half the length of 5.56x45. 5.56x45 is nowhere near the same size as a 9x19. 9x19 is wider in diameter because it is a pistol round, but 5.56x45 us far longer (19mm against 45mm). Pistol rounds are meant to be short and wide, whereas rifle rounds are meant to be thin and long, in order to fly a further distance at faster speeds, thanks to the little air resistance that the thin shape gives it. The pointed tip also helps when penetrating armour, but the curved end of 9x19mm does not lend itself to this trait.
In short, 5.7x28mm and 5.56x45mm are longer and thinner than 9x19mm in order to penetrate armour at far longer ranges than 9mm can reach.

I love how the front half of the Type 2 fires while the ammo is in the rear half, and the real half is suppressed while the suppressor is on the front half.

I wouldnt say that now. But the more I look back on this cod, it was heavily underrated. It had an amazing campaign and multiplayer was quite good. It was just the future setting that made this game suffer big time and it saddens me.

I personally really liked the mix of firearms. Some were hyper-futuristic, some were mildly futuristic, some are modern with a coat of new paint, some were archaic, and some were archaic but with some futuristic additions.
CoD still have the most stylish reloads animations. Favourite being Kendall 44.

I could say the far cry blood dragon had better reload animations by a long way. if you haven't seen them there are only like 7 ish guns (have not played it in years so i'm not to sure) but they are fucking stupid and just cool to watch. this game had a pretty fun campaign and some great weapons. The volk in particular is my favorite version of the AK, and I've been an AK girl for the entire time I've been playing CoD. Its so cool.
I love the NV4 (just because it's familiar, being based on the M4 and all), but god damn watching the attention to detail on the FHR-40's magazine being transparent and each individual round being fed into the weapon is so satisfying

The suppressed Type 2 when split in half, silences both guns despite only the front end having the suppressor?
Not to mention when the energy weapons are suppressed, it gets rid of any sort of energy trail. With a bullet projectile I can understand but with an energy weapon?

the same game also has a three round burst revolver and two round burst bolt-action sniper rifle. I think logic is out of the window.
The revolver could use quartz on the primer and have the metal storm system.
The 2 rnd burst sniper could be duplex rounds.
One, metal storm would require an electric trigger which the revolver doesn't have as it uses it's hammer to fire each shot separately (see slow motion if you didn't catch that)
Two, the rifle ejects two cases when cycling the action. Also duplex ammo would have the two shots leaving the barrel almost simultaneously while this thing sounds like it has two rounds coming off. But what urks me the most about this one is that it's just an intervention that some how shoots two rounds while they do have an anwser in the game, they have a three round burst sniper that looks a lot more believable than using a "classic" gun from earlier games.

I love this game, and I don't understand the hate for it. To me, the weapons feel nice and there's a nice mix to choose from. Yes I know things like the Kendall is literally just a Glock 17, and the NV4 is an M4A1 but it's still fun.
It's the lack of sense put into how they work. Even if you have a game that looks great, it has to make sense. Otherwise it just looks like they weren't trying and wanted attention. It's the same thing with he fact that they basically stole the Pelican from Halo.

hey hectorlo did u know there is a third hit animation.... for the halo 2 beam rifle.....if the generator burns out and his hand is up....press the melee button, the spartan swings his hand across while the generator is still cooling down.....I might be late with this..but its the only weapon I found that does this

Ww2 did it right. The character didn’t want grand thumb and held back the bolt. When you put in the clip the character can just push the bolt to make it load a round
