Having used this for 10 weeks now, I have to say that this is an INCREDIBLE machine which can do everything the $2000-3000 machines I was previously considering can, but for way less money. The build quality, level of personalization and exceptional taste of the espresso and milk-based drinks really makes this an easy machine to recommend to anyone who loves espresso or coffee. It will have paid itself off in another two weeks (3 months of use), based on a very conservative estimate of how much I'd have spend on coffee purchases at affordable (not fancy or even monopolistic) cafes and coffee shops. Do the math and you'll quickly see why one of these is 100% worth the investment.
Excited to get mine. The only thing on my wish list is that you could change the aeration through the software and not the knob. Keeping each drink more consistent. We can change the grind size through software, but not the aeration. All in all, I'm super stoked for this machine!
I ordered my TK-02 in December 2022, and have been eagerly awaiting my unit. I recently received a status email that the latest run of EBs are complete, and the project has transitioned to the Pilot Phase. It's almost ready! And I was just in BK last week. I should have dropped by!
I I ordered mine back in November 2022 and apparently whoever that pre-ordered the machine at that time was supposed to get it in the fall of 2023. we are still patiently waiting for it! I hope the machine is well-tested and robust. Thanks.
Ha. I pre-ordered Oct. 2022. I’m still waiting impatiently. Good thing I had a TK-01; sold it to my sister recently in anticipation of the TK-02 shipping soon.
I can’t wait and have my preorder for the tk02, and this is my first time making my own espresso. Wanted to ask is there a difference in beans as in espresso beans?? My goal is to make drip coffee and cappuccino back and forth. Do I need to use different beans for both types?? Or am I using 1 type of bean for both?? If I have to use 2 different beans is there an option of maybe a side chute for one time use? Thank you still getting the tk02 either way.
Great question! You can use the same coffee beans to brew both espresso and drip coffee. I typically recommend using a high quality medium roasted coffee that is freshly roasted. This will give you great results for both kinds of brews! That being said, TK-02 also has a preground chute where you can brew different coffee from what's in the bean hopper.
Thanks for reaching out! We recently sent out a TK-02 shipping timeline update. Please reach out to our team at contact@terrakaffe.com if you haven't been receiving our update emails and we'd be happy to get you this information.
I see you guys redesigned the brew unit. Have you addressed the issue from TK-01 where the grinds accumulate near the unit and needs to be cleaned frequently?
Great question! TK-02 has a very comparable volume to any other coffee grinder or espresso brewer. We plan on providing a video specifically about the machine volume in the future!
So Excited to get mine! I ordered back in October 2022, one of the firsts to pre-order
What did you pay?

I don’t see the Machiattos on the Home Screen. Did you make those drinks somewhere to add them additionally?
You can add macchiato to the machine screen by using the app!
I can't wait for mine! Glad to see cortado made the list :)
Lukewarm latte and cappuccino. No much one can do from the settings, temp is at max. Any suggestions to improve will be much appreciated!

There’s a single shot hopper for pre-grind.
You use the same beans for espresso drinks as you'd use for drip coffee.

When are they going to start shipping, surely there's a precise date this close to Fall?! 👀
Also curious. I ordered mine back in October and still no word.

I got notification today that it was shipped. I’m tier one for expectation reference.
When did you order yours? I ordered Oct 24th, 2022. Paid the invoice like two months ago.
Do you have a showroom or pop-up in The City?
Hello! We partner with Parachute Home stores who have the TK-01 available to test.
Is it loud?
