This week's video is a highly requested one where I talk about the process (every bits of it) that I went through in order to study abroad. I'm sorry if the video is a bit choppy, I tried to cut as much as I could. Drop down any questions in the comment section and I would be more than happy to entertain them! A little background of myself:
I am a first year undergraduate studying Actuarial Science and Mathematics at University of Manchester. After SPM, I took diploma of Actuarial Science for 2.5 years at UiTM Seremban. I started applying UCAS at the end of my 4th semester of diploma using the cgpa I had at that time.

Hi sofea, may i ask about your visa application process, was it too intense? When you started applying for visa and what documents actually need to be prepared (Is it true applicants need to convert few documents into english?)

Hi, I just wanna ask about MARA. Did your visa you applied by yourself or MARA apply kan ? And usually apa je yang kena bayar sendiri besides ielts.

yes u should , but if u dont want to payback u can work under MARA

WTU dah set tarikh tutup for application so i think you need to refer to that. But make sure you already have offers from university okayy! ☺️

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!😍 Just wanna share my previous application experience which is in this year. I’ve got my conditional offer from Manchester too but i didn’t submit my IELTS result bcs i didn’t manage my time so well when to seat for it so my application becomes Clearing & i’m stuck at the WTU application as well bcs of IELTS. That was soooooo sad but yeah my IDP agent said i need to reapply for next year application. I hope everything went well bcs i wanna study there so bad. Thanks again for making this video and helping others to prepare to study abroad. May Allah bless you in everything you do especially in this video! Thanks!💖

Hi Sofea! I come accross to your channel and do you mind sharing does IDP ask for any payment/fee for documentation? If does how much for range? Hope you don't mind sharing!
Based on my experience, no IDP doesn’t ask for any payments at all
is this the same technique to pursue your studies abroad? im planning to pursue my studies in australia using my stpm certificate.

oh and btw what is the difference between ucas and other scholarship??
ucas is like upu but its for university at uk, you need an acceptance letter first from the university u want to pursue at uk baru awk ambik scholarship cause scholarship only helps for financal stuff only. but if u dont want scholarship is fine but u hv to have alot of money or ur parents give you money when u study at uk.
Is A-level important for university applications especially in the UK or just an optional requirement?

actually its depends on the university that you are gonna applied . even with your stpm and matriculation also can if the university that you wanted recognise it . but you need to score as the qualification needed for A level / stpm / matriks / ib

im not sure specifically tapi u boleh check abroad unis punya requirements and see what kind of certificates they accept through their uni official website under international students!

Hi Alya! So most of Malaysian students stay at private houses in Rusholme bcs the rent is much much cheaper than uni accom and it is not that far from the uni either. Plus, there’s a lot of halal restaurants here. They usually advertise vacancy on Facebook and sometimes through the freshers whatsapp group.

Hii i forgot to ask, if im done with my diploma last february is it too late to apply with ucas ? And do they charge fee ?
Hi there, UCAS dah tutup 26 January for intake this year, but you can still try applying directly at each university(through their portal) or email them to ask if they have place available for your specific course. The application fee was about rm160 and you can apply up to 5 universities(dekat ucas). Hope this helps :)
