After research he’s my 17th Great-grandfather through his illegitimate daughter Margaret.

Beauchamp is pronounced 'Beech-um' isn't it? You're right, he absolutely murders 'Plantagenet' (pun intended).
Also Beauchamp is pronounced phonetically as Beechum in the UK.
