I struggled with figuring these brakes out for nearly 3 years, but it finally makes sense to me now. And for the last six weeks since I did this episode, everything has been rocksolid. Wooohioo
Flaring brake lines, always a challenge with the old style tool. I switched to a mastercool hydraulic kit. No regrets. The bad line could indeed pull air in and not leak. Brakes have been my # 1 priority since day 1. Especially customer cars.
I’ve definitely seen this before, but of course, there has to be some symptomatic point at which you can finally discover where the problem is. If I was doing this stuff on a professional basis, I would probably get the hydraulic flaring tool. But I’ve been using this tool for nearly 40 years and it suits me OK. So… I’ll keep doing what I do The tool has more than paid for itself P envy those who have the tool you describe. Because those are awesome Thanks for watching and taking time to comment It’s much appreciated
