Have a good holiday. You mentioned an older guide book that you will be using for a future video. I have an old copy of a Ward Lock guide book to the Isle of Wight dated about 1950. It`s fascinating to read how the Island was then and to see the photos and the rail network ( when I was a child and was taken on holiday every year to stay in a guest house in Lake at that time ) and compare it to the Island as it is today. It is a really comprehensive guide covering every town , monument ,village and walk on the Island as it was then. Brings back great memories.

What a great idea! It will be fascinating to find out what’s changed over the years, I’m thinking housing/industry will have been the biggest influences but the old footpaths should have remained the same….. shouldn’t they ???
Interesting to find out and if you can get some ‘then and now’ comparison shots that would be excellent .
