LOVE these plants!!! Such a beautiful texture! I have several of the white and green that are huge and fluffy. Gorgeous! I have several of the gold too. Great pop in the shade. I plan to get more. Can’t always easily find them. I have also split them and they do well.

I love the Everillo, it's my favorite carex, it's a great plant and it multiplies readily, I have made a dozen plants from the original two plants that I purchased about four years ago. I love the texture and color.

I have everest based on a video of yours a ways back where they were in containers. In a small shaded bed on the N side of my house that gets less than an hour of sun a day, they are actually a foundation plant alternating with some winter gem boxwoods that are pruned pretty small... and I'm really happy with the combo.

😅I got up this morning and went to a local nursery, IN THE RAIN, to buy a few Everillo.

I love Everest. But I ended up getting Feather Falls from Plant Delights. Feather Falls is refreshing, with a crisply variegated bright green and white leaf. Jim! Thanks for introducing so many of us to Carex. Such a tough, beautiful, useful plant. I am using mine around the edge of an east-facing daylily bed. The carex masks the spend daylily foliage in the fall.

I agree with you that Everillo and Eversheen are very striking together! Love the Everest and Everglow for places where you'd be seeing them up close. Despite myself, I think Everillo is my favorite....I've shunned lime green/chartreuse plants but the Florida sunshine illicium finally made me a fan and now I want them all. I think that grasses are going to be one of the next trends in the landscape, as people see there is something beyond pampas. (Also think that there's going to be a demand for more fragrant plants!)
P.S. The music during the intro is my most favorite of all the ones you use!

I'm doing a white garden under a river birch in my front yard with Shi Shi Gashira white camellias, a Jubilation gardenia, some Autumn Ivory encore azaleas, some Holly ferns, a Little Honey oak leaf hydrangea, some Ever White Agapanthus (when I can find them) and have ordered a mix of white caladiums for spring planting. I've had my eye on the Everest variety to fill in some spaces for their texture. Hoping that some extra irrigation with some drip tubing will keep everything well watered especially during the very hot summer months here in zone 8b. River birches are water hogs.

Jim, totally unrelated question, but I thought you would be the best person to ask…you’re kind of an expert. My father in law recently passed away. He and my husband had planted a mulberry everbearing tree when my husband was very young. I would love to plant one at our home so he can look out and remember his dad. Any idea where I could find one? I’m zone 8a just south of Raleigh, NC.
