I agree. I said the same thing about the fish he "saved" from poor conditions at the "abandoned" pet shop. Bobby is a great person with the purest intentions. The problem is if they keep buying them they are just going to support the market for these animals and the sellers are going to make profit and just restock. They should try raising awareness by maybe contacting local organisations that deal with animal cruelty and the like and getting them to help bring publicity to this.Though these videos are also helping with the publicity part , it won't solve the problem even though they meant to help and I do appreciate that
@@ancientstar367 it actually makes zero difference whether or not he buys these animals. Their business is supported otherwise by the people who purchase the live animals to actually eat. Even if he stopped buying the animals, the same amount of people who regularly purchase them is not going to change. So, unless you get the people who eat them to stop, there will always be these live markets. So, it's actually doing more good than bad to buy the animals to give them a second chance at life. Though, idk how I feel about them releasing these animals into the wild if they're not native. Even if it's a private pond. This is a state that gets floods all the time, which is how so many invasive fish have gotten into the ecosystem. All from the private ponds flooding into canals and other water ways. Another major issue with releasing animals that have been in captivity for any amount of time is a risk for introducing viruses and disease to the wild populations.
What about the animals brothers or sisters that weren’t caught the first time because the demand wasn’t as high? You are successfully instigating hunting down the rest of these critter’s family members to be inhumanely caught and kept then killed to be eaten. Simple economics kids
You know that you were putting the store down for selling live fish for eating BUT you took such great pleasure feeding that tilapia to your catfish. That's what duplicity means. You buy fish at stores to eat, you feed your fish live fish ALL THE TIME. Where's the difference? Some people prefer live fish for freshness unless you go fishing and catch your own. Which is what we do. There's no difference. Ok. I thought this was fish. Save the turtles.
THANK. YOU. What’s the difference between feeding his fish live fish and someone else eating them? I honestly don’t think they SHOULD be sold live, and sold right after death maybe, but it does happen because it’s a way of making money for people. Clearly he hasn’t been to a T&T or anything like that because he was being rude basing it off the smell right when he walked in. That’s very insulting. Pretty sure he’s not a vegetarian either so what’s the difference between having a hamburger or a hotdog or chicken? Oh right, none.
The difference is the live fish he feeds to his are not kept in inhumane conditions while the fish at the store are kept and treated inhumane. Its perfectly ok to keep live fish at a store if thier needs are met and they don't suffer.

How about let’s NOT bash a culture for what they eat? And before all you guys start coming at me for saying that, YES I think it’s great that those animals he took are not going to be eaten, and YES I do not like the idea that they are sold basically to die, but saying the store smells bad as soon as you walk in, and saying “how could you eat these” is disrespectful towards a culture and to some, that’s a delicacy. Have you done your research on those eels? What if they were unwell? You should’ve put them into a quarantine tank before hand and researched where they would be best suited or if they were even fresh water in the first place. What might be weird to you, is totally normal. And if you’re not a vegetarian or vegan, then what’s the differences between getting a hamburger, or chicken, or sushi (when it comes to eating fish and the turtles and frogs) you’re still eating them, so why say it’s weird, and pretend you’re going to eat it for a bit for a video. @@kellihunter5047 Turtles may not stay there. They can leave and walk to another body of water. If it’s a Florida native turtle, okay. But he doesn’t seem to know what it is.
The sign on the bin said they were yellow eels. We do have yellow eels in Florida, but I don’t know if these were native.@@amazingaquaticsandexotics3030
I love turtles and seeing him swimming to his new life was amazing p.s. the eels look like tulip eels I had a white one and that's what they do the bury themselves and stick up like a tulip flower.. Blessing guys and ty for saving them.
I want a part two so they don’t die
That’s so sad good thing you’re saving them
You guys really need to do a part two you guys are my fav RUclipsrs and it's awesome seeing people doing this ❤❤❤
Yes
@rylan yes I pretty sure being banged to death id
What about the animals brothers or sisters that weren’t caught the first time because the demand wasn’t as high? You are successfully instigating hunting down the rest of these critter’s family members to be inhumanely caught and kept then killed to be eaten. Simple economics kids
@rylan No
@@jimmydomingo5022 what do you mean no😂
Sad thing is about this is when you buy you make room for more to be caught and shipped to the store. So the cycle never ends for the animals.. what sucks is, no ppl buying then animals die and go to waste and they won't want to sell them again. Which sucks. But that's how it works
Not animals, but reptiles.
They have no feelings.
@@jefsiv you're not the least intelligent person on earth but you better hope that person doesn't pass away.
I agree. I said the same thing about the fish he "saved" from poor conditions at the "abandoned" pet shop. Bobby is a great person with the purest intentions. His methods are just counterproductive to his goals. With his influence on youtube he could probably organize a very effective protest and boycott of places like this.
@@johnfranklin4986 yeah I agree. When your young your quick in actions..which sure alot are good. But you get older and you realize don't fight a war at the end of it. No. You go fight the fight at the source. Then you can win. Some times you can't. Like saving the wild mustang. And was decades fighting to stop shooting the wolves. And like dog meat over in Asia, ect. That fight took forever and still going on, though less in certain areas.. I was flighty and jumped the gun many times saving animals in my youth. Became a animal control officer, learned alot. Went to alot of courts. Was a vet tech 17 yrs, learned alot there too. Horse show stables, even the local zoo. I seen it all. Heard it all. Wanted to do bad things to more corrupt places then you can imagine. It changes you!
Thank you I love having fish❤
I always have wanted a turtle. I also have been begging my parents so hope I get one. Thank you for helping the poor animals! 🎉❤
You need a big tank a filter a UV lamp and google the things that turtles need, these are the basic tips for turtles.
See them put the neglected turtle in the pond was amazing!
Them: "We need to save them all!"
The shop: "business is boomin"
Exactly! What about the animals brothers or sisters that weren’t caught the first time because the demand wasn’t as high? You are successfully instigating hunting down the rest of these critter’s family members to be inhumanely caught and kept then killed to be eaten. Simple economics kids

Please do a part 2.😊
Please do a part two i love this this is amazing to see people saving animals from their death please do another video of this but please save some frogs so they will not have to get crushed to death 😢 ❤
The problem is if they keep buying them they are just going to support the market for these animals and the sellers are going to make profit and just restock. They should try raising awareness by maybe contacting local organisations that deal with animal cruelty and the like and getting them to help bring publicity to this.Though these videos are also helping with the publicity part , it won't solve the problem even though they meant to help and I do appreciate that
Well done saving all the fishes 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 ❤❤
Is there videos showing he’s taking care of them?
All of you are awesome!!!!! Thank you for saving them!!!!
Your so cool please keep making videos you are my favorite RUclipsr thank you
I feel so bad for turtles and frogs and all the other stuff Oh and I wanna part 2!
I love that you are saving these animals! Part 2 please!
But you already know that you support these people every time you shop there! 😔
true story
But he is still saving them
@@erinevans3180 yea he is but every time he buys something from there and that’s just supporting them sadly
All the people that work here have families to support. Who supports you?

Agreed!
Plus reptiles don't have feelings.
The difference is the live fish he feeds to his are not kept in inhumane conditions while the fish at the store are kept and treated inhumane. Its perfectly ok to keep live fish at a store if thier needs are met and they don't suffer.
@@666Nobody66 who gives a fuck they still die anyway
Could not agree more with first two comments above, but I do want to add something. You will never accomplish putting an end to this practice, by assuring that business is booming for these market owners. You are successfully instigating hunting down the rest of these critter’s family members to be inhumanely caught and kept then killed to be eaten. Simple economics kids.
If I go buy all of the puppies from the puppy mill down the street that are disgustingly neglectful to them, do you think that the owners will just pack it up and stop breeding more puppies? 😏🤔
i need to see a part 2,pls save them its so inhumane

Saddest but at the same time best video yet thank you for saving them warms my heart up but I can’t believe the amount of them and the frog incident. Please like I want Bobby to see.
You will save the ones you buy but they will always stock more. Nice video
Thank you for saving those fish that's so kind of you
He's not saving them. They're all going to die out there. They were raised in captivity, and are not prepared for the wild. Also, chicken's living conditions are WAY worse, but doubt you care when you eat your chicken nuggets. And who are you to judge what animals are considered food?
Please do a part two of saving lives fish 🐠

I normally love your content don’t get me wrong you’re one my absolute favourites, i just thought you should see this because I care about you, and the care of the animals. Next time you’re there be sure to quarantine the animals before releasing !! :)))

These people might eat that stuff in their own horrible countries - but not in the civilized part of this world!
You do realize that they're not b******* about culture and what they eat. They're complaining about the conditions that the creatures are in beforehand you can still eat something and have it in a okay living condition until then it actually makes the meat better

The pet store near me doesn’t throw animals away, i actually bought a deformed koi from there before. Poor thing was missing an eye, they gave me a random discount for him too because he’s missing an eye 😅, they always keep there deformed or unsellable animals though. The unsellable ones are put up for free adoption
Thats quite sweet

What is the temp range in your cichlid pond? I want to do a buried trough pond in a shaded part of my yard in Scottsdale, AZ. The temps range like crazy. Summer can be 115 plus and it can get down to the 50s or lower in the winter. I know people keep goldfish and koy here, but don't know anyone keeping Africans outside.
Africans like high 70s for water temp a little higher for breeding. That is water temp.
Any update on the eels and if they are salt water or not?

that will be so cool, hope it works
A thing that broke my heart is they started to kill those frogs 💔😭
Yes do a part 2 saving the rest of the animals
Honestly this is disgusting. Please go save as many as you can! So sad 😢
Keep up the good work guys!
Tbh i dont think its disgusting for them, they eat it just like we eat fish, chicken that they already caught and kill them in the grocery store
@@UrMom-eu4qr I get that but the difference is I’m from the UK.. we don’t have stuff like that, you’re “lucky” if you even kill your own food here. I can;t believe they are allowed to be kept in such horrible conditions. Can't the humane Society do something about this
If all the turtles are bought the store would just order more. Maybe even put in a larger order…
Yes! Simple economics….your heart is in the right place but your actions are not helping the cause man. I like your channel but please think a little harder to hatch a plan about “saving” animals that are seen as a commodity through next time. Please also rethink releasing potentially diseased or invasive species.
See that's the thing tho... The more you buy, the more they just catch and produce them... They knew what y'all was doing and didn't care. Pretty sure that's why he killed the frogs in front of you!! Heartless as a person can get honestly. And the way they just restocked right in front of you before they killed the old ones!! 🤢🤢🤮 Also, if you do decide to save more, I'd advise try to feed at least once before releasing to make sure they make it.
I realy REALY want part 2
