It can depend. But the Evoque has been one of the more reliable Land Rover products unlike the Discovery and bigger Range Rovers. We had 0 issues with ours, but sold it right after warranty ran out. So can't say what it's like to own out of warranty.
It's a little high on the petrol version. I think if you want low monthly costs, go for the diesel. Usually travel 50km a day, usually saw a full tank last just over a week and bit.

Does it have a wireless charging port ?
Is the petrol version able to consume ~9 litres? We had an old Si4 and that thing was thirsty. Our current TD4 only needs 6.5/100km.

It’s a shame as I’ve lost all interest in this vehicle since I can no longer get a 3 door version D’oh !!!
