Co-Hosts Ray Hanania joins former Congressman Bill Lipinski on two guys on politics to discuss the debate between Vice Presidents, Ohio US Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz that took place on Tuesday night, Oct. 1, 2024.
Podcast co-Hosts Lipinski and Hanania discuss Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris' appearance on the popular news program 60 Minutes and her weak performance when given a platform to speak on her own, or offer detail on her solutions to the nation's challenges. And, Lipinski and Hanania discuss the criticism directed at Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and the shifting alliances against him in the Chicago City Council. Johnson suggested providing a $300. million load to fund teacher salaries that the CPS CEO Pedro Martinez, who was appointed by former Mayor Lori Lightfoot, rejected. The fight prompted a protest and resignation of the CPS board members, who Johnson had appointed. We also address the criticism of Johnson who plans a trip to London by the media. Johnson noted no one criticized Gov. J.B. Pritzker who traveled to Tokyo, suggesting the issue is race.
