Massively helpful vid. I've done this and got my cut back BUT its now a bit tighter when it moves and requires more pushing. Should it be lubed at all, or possibly I've pushed in back in too much and tightened the tabs too strongly?
hey man, great vid on how to do it, currently trying to do so myself but i can't get my fader out of the mixer removed the 4 screws but it seems to still be stuck solid!, any ideas?, thanks
Thanks for this, man. After 5 + years of heavy usage my crossfader finally needed cleaning. I tried to get it done without breaking the solder 'seal' but alas. Since I have no knowledge of electrics and soldering; why is that one solder point essential? The fader casing seems to stay close perfectly fine without it. Any thoughts?
@@ianskar do you know where you can get the same rubber stoppers? I was thinking about added another one on each side of the regular innofader to make the cutting a little more sharp.
@@DV91 I got them sent from Innofader company. Email them and they will get it sent to you. I got mine for free because my mixer and pnp2 was actually not so compatible as mentioned on their website.
Hola amigos, el crossfader de mi Kontrol Z2 se descalibra, lo he limpiado pero no lo he desarmado así como aqui en el video, lo he recalibrado y despues de usarlo al día siguiente o pasando un rato de usarlo se vuelve a descalibrar y tengo que estar quitando la tapa de la mixer todo el tiempo así que no se que hacer o donde conseguir el repuesto. Creen que si lo desarmo así como aqui en el video me pueda volver a funcionar o mejor me compro otro... estaba viendo los precios de los crossfader y cuestan lo que vale la mixer entonces ya no se si comprar otro crossdader o mejor comprar otra mixer.
I tried to do this without heating the ground solder and ripped the whole thing off... RIP. I got an Innovate Mini InnoFader Plus on the way for replacement :P

fader casing solder because it's connected to GND,you need remove solder to open fader
dootejun are all the innofaders like that? I’m gonna need to open up a PNP2 soon to install rubber stoppers...
