oh man. My little cousin bookmarked this earlier.. I have to comment. I went on this ride at age 13 in 2002 and this is still my favorite roller coaster ever. Something about this ride is so terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. Although I've been on rides that go faster than it (Kingda Kah), nothing compares to the feeling of being on this ride. The seats and the way that the rider is strapped in makes you feel like you could fall out at any second. I remember being about 5'1" and about 100 lbs feeling TOO BIG for the seat! It was unreal. Also, I'm a "hold your hands up in the air" type of girl. Well, that didn't happen til the very end on this ride. I commend anyone who is able not to touch the lap bar at any given point. Lastly, I loved the feeling of going up the first hill. Before I could even see the peak of the coaster, I was hauled over it and next thing I knew, I was looking straight down at the ground. I don't think any other coaster is like this one. It's no surprise it wins first place on Coaster Force every year
This really is a great ride. When in the front it seems like an eternity before you can see the track in full as you're cresting the first hill - it's a chilling feeling.
Awesome ride! The speed and height is out of this world. I rode this several times. I remember looking back and seeing my friend's face turn completely pale when going up that hill. That hill is no joke. Unbelievable ride. Still gives me anxiety.
Millennium Force has been voted the number one steel roller coaster in the world in Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards six times since the year 2001, and has never been ranked lower than number two since it opened in 2000. Yeah we win.
we waited an hour and 45 minutes for this ride..!!! we got to the park right when it opened at 10 am and went straight to this ride. and by the time we got off, it was already like 12:30....!! it was SO worth it though. i would wait ALL DAY just to go on it again.
oBRDY I don't know if you've ridden millenium force or not, but I watched a video of intimidator 305, and to be honest, I don't think its anywhere close to being better than this. Just my opinion.
i remember this ride i cryed a little its no biggie but like the best ride ever!!!!! i hate the hill i littlery couldnt breath and i sat in the back but why did it have such an impact on me and not the other people plz anwser back thx peoples!! :)
I have not been on Intimidator either, but I agree. And so does the world, cause this year (and several of the past years) this was voted best steel coaster in the world.
@legomaniac150 The elevator lift cable is actually better since it weighs less and gets you up the long hill faster. It also adds to the "millennium"ambience the designers were going for. It's got anti-rollback, nothing unsafe about it ;)
It depends when you buy it. I bought one 5 days before we went and it was $50 per fast lane. We bought more on our second day there and it was $65 per fast lane. (We wanted to see if they were worth it) And they are. A tip, buy them as far away from when you are going as possible for the best deal.
Yep, it gets pretty hot in July and August, that's when we usually go to Cedar Point. Last year we had record heat, we even opened our swimming pool early.
The whole point of the new lift hill was why they called it Millennium Force. It's faster and quicker and less weight and doesn't take as long to get up a hill long like a standard chain hill does.
this ride owns you after the first drop, then you think it's gonna get slower but it doesn't. maintains a high apeed all the way till the last turn, 1.5 hours in line is well worth it for this, but try and go after dark, it totally increases the thrill of the ride.
This coaster prompted two firsts in my life: It was the first time my legs went weak stepping onto a coaster, and it was the first time my parents heard me cuss :-D That first hill is a doozey!
My all time favorite coasters; 10.Chang,* Kentucky Kingdom; Now known as The Green Lantern, at Six Flags, New Jersey. 9.Mystery Mine, Dollywood. 8.Kraken, Sea World, Orlando. 7.Gatekeeper, Cedar Point. 6.Top Thrill Dragster, Cedar Point. 5.Revolution, Six Flags Magic Mountain, California. 4.Diamondback, Kings Island. 3.Raptor, Cedar Point. 2.The Beast, Kings Island. 1. The Millennium Force, Cedar Point **RIDE ON FELLOW COASTER ENTHUSIASTS!!** Have fun and stay safe! Think safety!
All you guys are saying that this ride is too fast and it sucks, well you guys are just wrong. In a magazine, the editor said that millnium force is the best steel coaster in all of America. Its 'mericas ride.
+Matthew Balthazar It's just boring. You can't say it's " 'mericas " ride because that's not official. Plus, all it does is have a couple hills and turns. It's not that good.
This is an amazing ride, but that magazine editor has no clue what he's talking about. Maverick is better and it's in the same park. There are also many better rides around the US and the world.
A roller coaster is something anyone can ride. A sports team is very hard to be a part of. Plus being a fan of a sports team is way different than being a fan of a roller coaster. Sports teams are liked for their skill. Whereas with roller coaster in general you have to ride it before you know if you like it or not. Many of my friends have said rides look cool and then they ride it and hate it. You really have to ride it first.
@WackoJackoLmfao As for how they bleep things in 60 seconds, lets think about it. You get your picture taken, theres about 45 seconds until you are actually getting out of the car, on the millenium at least. You have to take the last bunny hop, and then a 180 degree inverted turn. Then coast in as everyone cheers, then get off and go down a flight of stairs and walk around a corner. The workers just have to scan one picture per row, in a minute. Not that complex.
I'll settle this since I was just there, hey already took Wildcat down and Disater Transport along with the Space Needle are going to be torn down to make room for a new coaster.
lol the last time i rode this. when the ride is at 1:17 it was at night and the fireworks were going off and when we hit the turn a big red one went off. it was amazing
@Nellinator2311 I love it too! :) Its so odd watching it without riding it ~ seems slower. The air time on the second hill is fabulous. 13th time I rode it, it was lightly raining, lol...felt like getting a full body tattoo.
Anticipation.. Then you actually go over the hill, then your like... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@WackoJackoLmfao It's possible it made it to the screens, but highly unlikely. It'd have to be from the picture guys not doing their job, and they'd get reprimanded. There are accounts of the picture guys bleeping it out on the monitors but printing it for themselves.

I agreeeeee its like perfection and idk y
This really is a great ride. When in the front it seems like an eternity before you can see the track in full as you're cresting the first hill - it's a chilling feeling.
I went on this for the first time today. I cried all the way up the hill but it is now my favorite coaster ever! It feels like you're flying!
Oh this is such a great ride. Front seat is crazy. 6 seats back gets great airtime. We love it
Awesome ride! The speed and height is out of this world. I rode this several times. I remember looking back and seeing my friend's face turn completely pale when going up that hill. That hill is no joke. Unbelievable ride. Still gives me anxiety.
That climb takes forever, and makes you realize how high you really are.....Love Cedar Point
Waited for 4 hours to get on the Millennium Force & it was SO.... Worth it!!
best ride ever and surprisingly super smooth. really worth the wait
i think he deserves a cookie just for keeping his camera and not letting it fly of the ride
I loved this coaster :D it was 2 minutes of heaven
Millennium Force has been voted the number one steel roller coaster in the world in Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards six times since the year 2001, and has never been ranked lower than number two since it opened in 2000. Yeah we win.
Top Thrill Dragster in the Millennium Force broke my fear of heights
I love this coaster, only drawback is you can't keep your eyes open, you have to try it with glasses on with a safety strap. Then it's AWESOME!
I love the way the Frog Hopper sits out in the sun all day, with metal seats. I'm sure the little kids come back with burnt asses after that ride.
i love it when your going up the hills then put your hands up its awesome
we waited an hour and 45 minutes for this ride..!!! we got to the park right when it opened at 10 am and went straight to this ride. and by the time we got off, it was already like 12:30....!! it was SO worth it though. i would wait ALL DAY just to go on it again.
Looks like the best roller coater ever! I wanna ride it so bad
INTIMATADOR 305 IS BETTER
oBRDY I don't know if you've ridden millenium force or not, but I watched a video of intimidator 305, and to be honest, I don't think its anywhere close to being better than this. Just my opinion.
Milenium is a tiny bit taller and has more hills plus tunnels and better theming.
im glad i live in the same city as it
i remember this ride i cryed a little its no biggie but like the best ride ever!!!!! i hate the hill i littlery couldnt breath and i sat in the back but why did it have such an impact on me and not the other people plz anwser back thx peoples!! :)
one the few I waited for front row. This ride is insane
It isn't bad at all after the dragging up the hill, when you're paranoid. After that, the adrenaline takes over. It's really smooth as well.
May the force be with you
I have not been on Intimidator either, but I agree. And so does the world, cause this year (and several of the past years) this was voted best steel coaster in the world.
Millennium Force is so much better in the front whoo!!!!!!!!!!!! What a rush! I love how it keeps dropping.
This is one of the best coasters in the world
THIS IS THE BEST RIDE IN THE WORLD IN MY OPINION AND LITERALLY
@legomaniac150 The elevator lift cable is actually better since it weighs less and gets you up the long hill faster. It also adds to the "millennium"ambience the designers were going for. It's got anti-rollback, nothing unsafe about it ;)
OMG!! I LOVE MILLENIUM FORCE!! EXTREMELY SMOOTH FUN AND EXCITING!!
i still think this is the greatest roller coaster ever built ever since its opening.
although i have not been on intimidatior 305
This ride will ALWAYS be my favorite coaster -3
My favorite roller coaster in the world. I dream of riding this one day.
I've been on this ride so many times. Can't wait for the 2013 year to start up so I can ride this 50 more times.
This was my fav ride at cedar point, I had my hands up the entire time😄
My first roller coaster. What helped me get through it was screaming, "I AM THE FORCE THE FORCE IS WITH ME!"
It is the best coaster in the world.
Love this ride. It's so smooth

I freakin love star wars rides!
Wow, he actually held the camera pretty freaking still for being on one of the world's most biggest roller coasters.
This coaster prompted two firsts in my life:

**RIDE ON FELLOW COASTER ENTHUSIASTS!!**
Have fun and stay safe! Think safety!
Awesome ride!!! Had so much fun on it :)
that first drop so serious!! im deciding between six flags, or cedar point!
Best ride ever. I rode it a week ago (on Sunday) and the line was only 10 min long.
One of the best coaster in the World!
Best rides at Cedar Point are Millennium Force, Dragster, Mean Streak (it is a headbanger though.), Gatekeeper, Mantis, and Maverick. By far.
haha i was laughing with the guy at the end of the video. love this ride so much
Looks really fun cant wait to ride it!
Love Cedar Point. Great coaster. Only bad part is the wait in line is so long and the ride is over so fast.
My absolute favorite ride!!!
did you really hold that camara steady.... amazing... that is a powerful ride... good job man
Thanks for the advise for the coasters!
1:10 is the best part when you look at that line like ... yep i was standing around for hours too (at least back when it was the hit ride)
Its soooo much taller than it looks in this video. I'm amazed this really is the ride
Been to ceadar point tons of times best rides there
This is my second favorite coaster I rode at cedar point
I went to cedar point over the summer but millennium force broke down while I was in line for it!!
That ride was amazing.
Favorite Ride Ever !!!!
All you guys are saying that this ride is too fast and it sucks, well you guys are just wrong. In a magazine, the editor said that millnium force is the best steel coaster in all of America. Its 'mericas ride.

I always keep my eyes open on this one, and the dragster for that matter.
Great job on holding that camera!
OMG!!!!! MILLENIUM FORCE! BEST! RIDE! EVER!!!
Best ride in the world. I'd pay everything I had to be able to ride it nonstop for a day.
This ride is freakin' sick
I like them both equally,,Top Thrill is scarier but the Millennium is longer,, I love Cedar Point!!!
Because i can tell from this video that it would be a lot of fun.
if ur were sceard then to think it was at night ,i had no idea what it looks like and hates roller costers .but i enjoyed it!
This ride is awesome!
@MrShadowWaluigi It's so fast the ride literally takes your breath away!
my #1 favorite ride EVER ;)
@WackoJackoLmfao As for how they bleep things in 60 seconds, lets think about it. was there today and that and raptor are like my favourite rides maverick number 3
This ride is the best if you go at night during halloweekends and there is fog everywhere from the nearby scare zone!
I live in Cali so i've only been on this ride once but i can atleast say that this tide goes so fast it wicks the spit from your mouth
@MrShadowWaluigi because you're ahead of all the soundwaves of screaming as the coaster continually moves forward
voted worlds best roller coaster for 12 years in a row ,aka-all the years it has existed
@Nellinator2311 I love it too! :) Its so odd watching it without riding it ~ seems slower. The air time on the second hill is fabulous.
13th time I rode it, it was lightly raining, lol...felt like getting a full body tattoo.
Most of the people here are only here to say this is the best ride ever. COUGH Maverick COUGH
I so chickened out. Man it is just scary being right next to it.
Erm I wanna ride but at the same time don't..... who else feels the way
That First Drop Will Make You Blank Out
tht looks a sick ride. havnt been on it yet. wish i could
Possibly, I think the price is determined by how many people already have them.
I have been on it. It's like i'm floating in my seat while we go down!!!!!!!!
@CP5626 Yeah. I live in VA and the Intimidator 305 gives you the same feeling. Except on the Intimidator, I manage to let out a scream.
@msfunkygirl21 was is in Sandusky, Ohio. The name of the park is Cedar Point. You will have the time of your life if you go.
lol went on this today and was my first real roller coaster first dropped feeling is awesome.
Kings Island is sooo funn! i've never been to Cedar Pointtt .
Anticipation.. Then you actually go over the hill, then your like... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@WackoJackoLmfao It's possible it made it to the screens, but highly unlikely. It'd have to be from the picture guys not doing their job, and they'd get reprimanded. There are accounts of the picture guys bleeping it out on the monitors but printing it for themselves.
Cool!! I live in Sweden and we don't have this coaster. :(
We are building 2 more. Thank you very much.
Is the drop on this ride a belly dropper or to fast of a drop? nice video :)
OH my gosh after seening this i felt like i was on that ride what a rush!!! YA!~
