    Do you have ilr? And how long did it take you to adjust to the UK work system?

    • @ItsDanicaH
      @ItsDanicaH  9 месяцев назад

      Hi. Not yet. I need another year to apply for an ILR. I'm not really sure now looking back but I guess a good 6 months to entirely understand what's going on 😅

    Hello! Is wearing cardigan allowed while on duty?

    • @ItsDanicaH

      Hi. They'd allow you if it's really cold inside your department like with us before in ED during winter. But still, it depends really.

    I actually don't think you did anything wrong here.
    Let's break it down:
    1. The patient was not mobile and could not move from the bed to attend to his own needs.
    2. The patient needed to urinate and without your assistance would likely have wet the bed in a corridor, surrounded by other people.
    3. You facilitated the patient being able to urinate in hospital-approved equipment, and presumably disposed/disinfected this safely and adequately afterwards.
    4. You covered the patient and protected them from onlookers to protect their dignity whilst they peed, that he was in a corridor at the time was the fault of the hospital.
    I would query how allowing him to wet himself in a corridor "preserved dignity and privacy", yet giving him something to pee in and protecting him from onlookers did not.

      Hi there! Your kind comment made my day. I started thinking from your perspective and I guess you're also right. It's all in the past now tho it's something vivid in my memory I can never forget but I can now think of it in your way 😊
