You're awesome just the way you are. I started watching you while you were at Cindy's and thoroughly enjoy your positive energy.

Kim, you are a beautiful lady inside and out. I believe we all have a little ADHD inside us. You are a busy person. Working, three dogs, appointments, vlogging, editing, etc. Love your videos

I enjoy your talks so much!
I was also diagnosed with ADHD (and burnout ) years ago. The meds didn't make a huge difference to me and I stopped using the meds, but after your explanation, I realized my thoughts are always all over the place, and it can be so exhausting. I do get a lot of things done, though, just because I have to. I am glad the meds seem to work for you, and I am glad you make the time to analyze the effect of the meds on you. Hope it makes a difference to you!
We just love you the way you are ❤

You need to do a full gut cleanse, procrastination can also be a sign of low level depression, procrastination can be misdiagnosed alot, even having a congested liver can cause weight gain and mental confusion, yes I read alot and always use these natural products myself, something to look into.😊

Meds can help, but I like chromium and B12 they do work, check with a natural healer if you find the meds to much some have side effects. I hope it all goes well.😊 The bicycle racks were mind blowing 😮 so many very unreal because everyone where, I live has a car, bikes much more earth friendly.

Time blindness is why your early to things, meds take time to become effective, and balance in your system and for side effects to go, and euphoria disappears, too.
don’t take anything else that effects you while you’re testing out medication ,
it’s called masking when you hide your symptoms, don’t take them haphazardly while you’re testing. Cindy s was a hyper focus situation, they’re brilliant and you can achieve a lot. Slow release of the same medication is exceptionally different, weird but true. You use sugar as a drug for dopamine release, but you could be using much more harmful substances.
Meds don’t cure you but can help a lot all be it temporarily.
Uk I started on 30 mil 2 weeks ,50mls 2 weeks, 70mils for ever. Plus short release top ups when necessary. This took about 8-9 months. One med worked better for me than all of the others.

@@sayyestonewvanventures yes, wouldn’t be with out or my life would fall apart “AGAIN “ that’s not to say I continually take meds because I don’t.

Also, immediate release, for me, is like being lifted up, being smacked with a sledgehammer, and thrown to the ground. A rollercoaster, slow release I find much more gentle and level and sometimes don’t notice it wearing off. 😆 my family do though 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have now started to notice the signs, loss of finding the words I need, instantly forgetting what I needed, and repetitively losing things, like scissors I’m using for a craft.

Kim 2.0!

Feel for your pulse in your elbow joint, if you extend your arm it is similar to where they will do blood tests (I am ex nurse/ambulance officer so have taken many BPs) BP's have two numbers good is 120/80.

❤👍 I hope the medication works good for you, ya just had to put that donut in didn’t ya? To Tease 😂 it made me laugh you holding on tight to your roll so the seagull wouldn’t grab it 😂 I thought we were the only country that had that problem with seagulls stealing food out of our hands 😂 it’s good to see we are not the only ones 😂 a couple of years ago I was in town and I went into a small convenient store for a coffee and while we were in there a seagull walked in ( not flew) picked himself up a packet of cheese n onion crisps and walked out, no one stopped him, I couldn’t believe what I’d seen and I couldn’t stop laughing, one of the cashiers said he comes in every day picks a different flavour and walks out, she said no body stops him because he’ll fight ya for them 😂 he was big as well I definitely wouldn’t fight him either 😂

Did they tell you whether you have inattentive, hyperactive or combined type? The inattentive type can be trickier with medication and it doesn't always work as effectively for inattentive.

Do you have a whiteboard, break it into sections of the day morning, afternoon and evening. Write ONE thing only in each space as your task or goal for that section, if you have a 'project' break it into tasks. Lists are like looking at Everest and thinking you have to climb that, however all you have to do is get to each camp on the way, don't look at the summit, look at the next 'camp'.

My son described his thought process as like a bee hive (he was 8 at the time, now 24), he said its like all these bees are flying around but none land long enough for him to focus on it before it takes off and the next one buzzes around. He is AuDHD

    • @sayyestonewvanventures

Ahh interesting way of putting it! Sounds about right 🤣 i read somewhere that the lack of dopamine makes it hard to filter what you have to pay attention to so your brain wants to give it all attention and that is what it feels like, especially in restaurants, listening in on all the conversations at once thats so much input! I also love working with kids because i can be myself, they love my energy.
And i don't need to guess how they feel, they just say 'no!' Or 'this is stupid!- or ' i don't like that!' And that makes it so much easier for me instead of reading between the lines all the time
