- I've always played with the idea of finding a stranger in the street and inviting myself into their house for a homecooked meal. It sounds quite rude but it's a great way to get to know the local culture.
Let me know what you think of this concept because I hope to do more of these kind of videos in the future!

2:29 Kupang has its own dialect which is still similar to Indonesian and used as a lingua franca, but West Timor itself has many unique languages and dialects that are worlds apart from the national language, including Tetun which is also the main language of East Timor.
Although things didn’t go as expected, I’m glad you were able to spend some time with Ika, Tini, and Nia. Uta was unfortunately being useless around the kitchen like most of our men LOL.
