- 2018 Ford Taurus Interceptor Sedan with the 3.7 liter engine. Thank you junior from Chiefs Auto Group in Hempstead, Texas. Great people and it’s family owned 💪🏾💪🏾
Address To Them:

Hempstead, Tx 77445
Did I hear that right, "look what I done got". I knew from that point on I was in for a very articulate and informative video.
Nice 2018 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor- it’s got a cop motor and it’s also got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks-and it’ll run good on regular gas
She's got the center console! Nice....
Bro got the slowest version
Damn good buy... that was a detective car or upper management car. I got vinyl seat in the back when my kids ride lol
Yep he told me it came from the dps office in hempstead and it was a take home car.
Very nice you can use this car as a security car
I like that I want one
That looks slick 😍
Just got one myself. 2016, 3.7. 450 idle hours. I'm 6'2, 300. And these cars are pretty damn comfortable. Not to mention they look awesome, too! I already did the fluid in the PTU, trans fluid as well. There is an open recall for these cars, too. Rear suspension knuckles as well as a reflash for the PCM. Any dealership will do these for free if it's not done already. Nice car, looks good. You got a mint center console too, way better than mine.
Thank you I’m going to check out the recall to see if it has been done or not.
Hurricane stupid question do I have to ask for those specifically (total noob) or just ask if there's any open recalls and if they can fix them I'm getting ready to pick one up in a week
I knew they had open recalls from the vehicle history report. Any good ford dealership should tell you if you have any. But you never know. I would definitely ask at the ford dealership .@@itsyaboimat2393
alot of dealers will bullshit you about the recalls. if one tells you they wont do it, just go to a different dealer. im in phoenix az and there is only one reputable ford dealer out here the rest are super scammy and will flat out refuse to do recall work. its fucking nuts.
@@DieselRamchargerI’m in arizona Phx too, I have - 3.5 2014 and I think I need to check the suspension because I sometimes hear a knuckling sound on the rear.
Your not gonna bypass and just act like he didn't just say he had 900,000 miles on the car lmao 🤣
😂😂😂
lol my bad bro
I got a 2015 Ford Police Interceptor Utility with the 3.7L that I got clean as a Supervisor's Vehicle (meaning it had the full civilian console and wasn't butchered inside). It turned my 150 daily commute into a video game bruh. 😂
Does your horn work? I also got 2013 Police Utility, 3.7L, wish it was 3.5L ecobeast. Im getting like 8mgp on E85 fuel.
@@dannyj7618 No problem with my horn.
I generally get 18mpg, sometimes 17mph when I play too much on the highway.
You should be getting at least 18mpg. There's something seriously wrong if you're only getting 8mpg (if that's not a typo).
Everybody that I took it to for service told me it's a good thing I didn't get the 3.5L. They showed me their shop full of Ecoboosts on lifts. The 3.7L Cyclone (same as in Ford's Mustang) is WAY more reliable.
Like I said, im getting combine 8mpg on - E85 fuel - this is 85% ethanol fuel. Its also over a dollar per gallon cheaper because its mostly corn ethanol. I do get 18 when I run regular 87 fuel. There is nothing seriously wrong with my car. If you fill up with E85 - you will also get 7-8 mpg combine MPG. @@YankeeWoodcraft
@@dannyj7618 According to "fueleconomy gov", you should be getting at least 14mpg with a 2013 3.7L FlexFuel E85 rated truck man.
Nice man , I’m about to get mine . 2013 Ford Taurus police 3.5 eco boost
You will enjoy it too
The clicking of the motor is that normal?
im not sure but im at almost 100k miles on it now and its still going strong
Do you still have it? Any good? A POS?
yea i still have it and its a great car
I have no idea why ford didn.t go with the 5.0 with these. 3.7 what are you going to catch?
the 3.7 is incredibly responsive and fast. I have a 2015 PI Sedan and lemme tell ya, Pursuit Mode is quick!
That is a nice looking vehicle raght'chare. That's awesome dude. What's the lifespan on one of these since I know they drive 'em hard on the job. Nice find.
They can last for awhile if you take good care of them. The main issues with these is the water pump. It normally start going bad around 100k to 150k miles.
Looks good I just got my first Taurus interceptor yesterday and love it..the only bad thing is my Bluetooth doesn’t connect..so with that bro said im going to see if the forscan can help
Nice and I hope the forscan works for you
This lit 🔥 I’m thinking about getting myself 2013 Chevrolet Impala LS police
Dam bro she looks good
Thanks bro
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 no problem dawg
thanks for showing me how to display the digital speedo, like and sub
Nice interceptor 👍
goddamn those inteceptor sedans are pretty, i want that, a crown victoria police interceptor or an interceptor utility real bad
Thank you I’m looking to get a Tahoe next
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 Nice! What generation or year?
@@Truckerboy1234 a 2015 and up
fpiu are big pieces of crap. but they are nice to drive. the crown vic is an old ass boat, but its the last cop car thats actually a frame on construction. fpiu and fpis are the same vehicle with the same problems. but a much more modern feel than the vics. so the question really boils down to.... How much do you value reliability?
nice a 3.7, wondering how much quicker is the twin turbo 3.5 vs the 3.7
Maybe .5 seconds quicker
yes, it's a good engine except for having to replace the water pump. it has an internal water pump making it replace a nightmare. the 3.5/3.7 are all like this with ford/lincoln. everyone has their own opinion some say it's not difficult to replace the water pump, but in my opinion shouldn't have to tear apart the engine to get to it and right next to oil. really, what were the engineers even thinking.
Clean
💪🏾💪🏾
Nice car man! Just beware that those engines are notorious for premature failing water pumps and their location makes it costly
Thank you and this has been the major issues for the tauruses and explorers. Most people get the warranty for them or just pay to get it replaced instead of using warranty. A new one you can get about 100,000 to 150,000 miles out of it.
True, but if you upgrade the water pump to the new design it will fix the problem with the double seals from the factory. Once you do that, these engines are damn near bulletproof.
Hell yeah bro!! I knew you got it from Hempstead I was like thats the car I was looking at. Shii where you from bro?
About 3 hours from Hempstead
Luv it😍
Thank you 💪🏾
nice looking car, no spot light.. you dont need it , get some LED headlights if you do any night driving.
Thank but unfortunately I installed a spotlight on it already. Working on a push bumper now because deers are bad where I live.
Very nice car love it 😀
🇧🇷👏👏
Hzve a white one and my engine hours 8000
Can you link the center console you bought for this? Been looking for it online but can’t seem to find the right one.
This center console came with the car when i got it. Amazo or ebay might have it.
Depending on where you're from, try a local salvage yard. Places like Pull N Save are life savers and cheaper.
How can I buy these tires?
You can get them from eBay or Amazon for a good deal.
Your radio works 😢 , mine dont
I miss my Magnum Interceptor
Looks good. One notch under the SHO, That said, can easily handle more road abuse than the SHO. Be aware of the PTU. It WILL bite you in the ass if don't address the oil/lube burn off.
how many idle hours are on it
675 idle hours
I have 13000 idle hours on mine. Oooof. 2015. @@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584
It's still a crap Taurus.. with nice springs n shocks #cvpi4Lyfh
