- This episode is an emergency transmission with TJ Morris of @BearIndependent. He's putting out the call out for volunteers to join his Grindstone Ministries team today at 104 Cherry Grove Rd - Jonesboro, TN 37659 to provide disaster relief to Hurricane Helene victims.
In this discussion, TJ talks about the miracles, life-changing encounters and even demonic attacks he witnessed during some of Grindstone's 45 previous disaster relief missions. We get into the gross FEMA fund manipulation he saw many first responder non-profits perpetrate and why Grindstone doesn't take FEMA money. Finally, TJ shares why he started Grindstone and why being a fence-sitter is dangerous!

Hands down my favorite part of deploying with Grindstone is the fact that someone almost always finds an open Bible and everyone stops working and comes over to read the pages it was opened too.
I've been on deployment with Grindstone on a few missions and it was such a blessing. It's not all cutting trees and clearing debris. I cooked and cleaned. It's all needed!

Before I went on a Grindstone deployment I had a grand total of 2 hours experience on a chainsaw with zero instruction. Now I own 4 chainsaws and I'm capable of teaching it less than two years later.
This makes me less nervous lol I’m headed out Monday I’ve owned saws and have taken down some 24 inch trees. I just bought a Sthil 391 for the trip it’s my first big boy saw. I’m excited for the opportunity to be the hands.

I stumbled on Bear's bible study videos back in 2021 by accident and God used him to reach me. I've been a part of a messianic community for three years now, and on fire for Elohim ever since!
This video was an answered prayer as I was praying for guidance on where and how to give. I immediately knew that I knew. As the Lord directs, if we can come in person to help at some point, we will do that, too. In the meantime, we lift Grindstone Ministries up in prayer, all the volunteers, and the communities affected. We pray for great shalom in the midst of this storm and that God will be glorified in it. We grieve with those who are grieving. Sing praise to ADONAI, His faithful ones, and praise His holy name. For His anger lasts for only a moment, His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. - Psalms 30:5-6. In Yeshua’s mighty name, Amen!

I got to deploy with Grindstone on their last deployment. Worth every bit of my time and money. All while leaving my family behind. If you can go, you definitely should. It will change both your life and the lives of the people you help. I hope I can make it to this deployment. Praying for all those affected and all those who are helping.
I've been on multiple deployments with Grindstone. If you haven't been before, you should make every effort to go. It's not just helping those people that need it, but it helps you as well.

We are in NE. TN. and were spared, (lost power for a couple of hours, downed trees and lost roof tiles) but many of the counties surrounding us were hit hard, including Northern Carolina.

I’m 75 years old and female, who isn’t able to do a lot, physically, but I CAN pray and I WILL pray for your rescuers and for all the people who are affected by this hurricane situation! I MIGHT be able to help you medically, at least, with any animals needing help. I worked as a
veterinary assistant several years ago and I can help this way, if needed. I can’t drive, due to cataracts in both my eyes, so I don’t know how I could get anywhere, but I’m certainly willing to help in anyway I can. I’m so sorry this is happening! I live in Northern Georgia with my brother and we were in the path of the hurricane, but it didn’t hit us, which means that Yahuah protected us! HalleluYah! So, please let me know what I can do to help you. I LOVE what you’re doing!!!

As Bear is talking about Hardwood one passage that we read in Shul last night came to mind: Luke 19:11+ talking about the Kingdom and his first and second coming. Several interpretations but one thing I am thinking is, Bear is a servant of Elohim and has been handed a maneh and He is going on to make more maneh with what he was given . Both economically and most importsntly Spiritually!!! Sharing the Gospel is the ehole point. Good a faithful servant! 👏🏽🥰 May Abba continue to bless you and the whole ministry. May He give you wisdom on how to proceed and guide you in which direction to go. May He open the opportunities to share the Gospel and lives to be saved both physically and Spiritually. May you be able to plant little seeds in plowed soil (like literally!) And May those seeds with the Spirit come into fruition so our Master is well pleased and has an abundant harvest 🙏🏽 In the name of Yeshua, Amen.

I would love to be deployed, but unfortunately I don't have any transportation. I use to help with search and rescue and sheltering with the Red Cross but they were never happy that i was and am very passionate about helping others in there time of needs. I help with Operation Christmas Child every year. But being the boots on the ground is what i feel like where im wanting to be. It has helped me with over coming depression and staying clean from drugs.
I live here...getting into Jonesboro is no problem...spreading out into the rural areas...problem
