As an example, Demon Slayer. It shows us the history of a demon to show us how they became that way and sometimes it is really heart-wrenching. It does not excuse what they've done and they are still very much evil even if they were manipulated in a bunch of cases. yeah she's a child but she's very much an evil child because she was literally a general in an army which means that she has caused the death of at least some people so she is very much evil.

I’m not so sure about that really, considering how many more variations and evolution there is in the abilities of people’s bending is possible in The Legend of Korra. Especially thanks to Toph. I felt like the intensity was more so in this, even though ATLA had a spectacular intense ending.
@ramen for life That does seem true. I think it might be thanks to the way they’ve been raised since the events of the war. Taught to be more accepting of others and hold less aggression inside themselves which originally allowed them to burn stronger, when it was not true. Now, it’s just more of a natural extension of themselves when they need it like any of the other benders of the world.

In ATLA you can tell when a bender uses elements from one of the other bending types, and it makes them more versatile and stronger, but in LOK I feel like its a lot more plain punching and kicking, not as many complex movements

The heroes, despite including the Avatar, are still just a gang of kids in a world infinitely more brutal & terrifying than they are, not the least of which is due to the Fire Nation’s encroaching influence upon the more peaceful states. Yes, Azula is a prodigious firebender, but if she were without the Fire Nation’s industrial empire, without her armies and elite squads of assassins, and was instead among the heroes, she may yet find herself eclipsed by older, more experienced benders. Even Iroh is implied to outclass her, despite never engaging with her directly.
I really enjoyed this. Normally I see people make really boring remakes and just throw in some random song. This looks good and I absolutely love Azula.

Wow I love this AMV of Azula! Personally, Azula is one of my favorite villains from avatar. I know a lot of people don't like her 'cause she is evil, but honestly I'm a sucker for badasses, so...
I find her behavior amusing! I can almost feel what it would be to be in her shoes. Father who doesn't care for his daughter but for the power she possess, similar to so many real world cases where girls are daddy's little dolls, beauty but no soul. Brother, who she sees as obstacle to the only thing she can receive from her father; attention. To some extent, she remind me of Harley Queen, the difference is that lord Ozai doesn't wear make up! It's entertaining to watch and fall in deep connection with such characters, because you eventually realize that you could've been just like them, on a psychological level, the only thing that didn't allow that to happen is who you were before. Great video, keep up with the work!
