Love your video it is very informative I was stuck on the tool chapter for a long while because even as I read it I was having a hard time processing the information but your video really helped thank you it made me want to transfer but unfortunately I live far away
Good video I like the breakdown but again I think I need more videos on how to USE the hand tools especially videos on how not to round or strip nuts, bolts, screws, and any other fasteners. But still great video and its also kinda nice to see a female that is so handy.
Craftsman were definitely professional tools, however they were owned by Sears, and they went out of business. Craftsman tool had a lifetime warranty. If one of their tools broke all you had to do was walk into a sears, and they would replace it on the spot. And they weren't cheap either. It was expensive back in the day to buy a craftsman set.
The reason Channel Lock and Vise Grip are the "Industry" names for those pliers is because that's who created/invented the design. The founder of Vise Grip developed locking pliers and the founder of the company Channel Lock created arc joint pliers. There are many other tools that carry what is now known as a brand name because it was that brand that invented that tool. The alternative names were made up to describe the tool for generic purposes once other people started making knockoffs after patent expiration. The reciprocating saw aka "Sawsall" was created by the Milwaukee tool company. There's a really long list of inventions that go by their creators name. It's almost an insult in my opinion to overlook that fact. These inventors gave the world such wonderful things.
Gotcha I guess I thought you meant it's not for grabbing bolts from the side only from above because of the angle that is on the box end side i wondered if I have been using the wrong side lol so thank you for clarifying I appreciate you taking the time to do so especially since I'm not one of your students but I very much enjoy your videos.
@@sarahobrien3379 Ahh I see. That angle you are talking about is mainly so your hand is up off of the surface you are working on. However, it can sometimes be useful when working at funky angles as well.
Love your channel. Very informative. I could listen to you all day! Your arm with tattoos looks slightly bigger than your other arm. Wanna arm wrestle?
The lady has tattoos all over her arm and teaches great theories. Best looking automotive teacher I've seen.
Came with questions and left with answers. Thanks for the video, Ms.A! Your lesson is easy to understand and well articulated.
Glad it was helpful!
These are amazing lessons
Thank you!

Yeah it was a shame when that went away. Craftsman used to be such a solid brand. Now it's just another cheap outsourced tool with no warranty.
My local tool reseller sells Craftsman tools by American made and Chinese. Pay more for the former.

Good video! "wrenches"
Howcome you cant use the box end wrench to grab a bolt from the side? P.s. you explain things very well I'm enjoying this video
A box end design blocks side access because it is fully round in its shape. I hope that makes sense.
