I love this bag, especially with the black trim! I’ve seen a lot of people purchase this recently so I feel like it’s the new “it” LV monogram bag. It’s kind of got like a 90s feel which I really like.
This looks exactly like an LV version of a bag I had in the early 2000s by coach. I think it was called the Carly. Trends always circle back!

I love your new bag! I pre-ordered mine and have been using it for over 2 weeks. I’m really enjoying this bag. It’s such a great grab and go bag that I have not reached for any of my other recent purchases (and there are many this year). Congrats on your new LV Goodies!
This is a lovely bag, I had compared it with Marelle in store. The bologne has a very vintage vibe (honestly a far better version of the older bologne versions). The marelle is more streamlined but holds much lesser.
I too fell so in love with the bag I had to get it right away! I feel the price point was surprisingly amazing as well 💕
A little secret is the LV business card holder, is less money than a card holder and SO much better. Empriente black leather is what I have it in and slide all my cards in and cash. Easy to switch between bags too. I think you might like it!

I would suggest the recto verso cardholder, small, compact and fits a lot of cards!
This video made me think of the fact that I bought recently the vintage one on fashionphile … got all the leather replaced for $1000 and just ended up selling it back to them for $600

This why I’m so torn about buying the wild at heart speedy. It’s trendy and for 3500 I need to be wearing it for a long time, but will I get tired of the leopard print on the bag? I love leopard print but on a bag 🤔 hmmmmmm
@@tacook7 i feel you 100% I wanted so many trendy items but after having to sell so much stuff that eventually doesn’t hold its value or fit my lifestyle I decided to stick to classics.
Next time sell on eBay, you’ll make your money back.
The Boulogne is a great bag and modeled after their old boulogne bag! I got the same one. The strap actually adjusts to 3 settings. Just look for the extra snaps! There’s a middle setting too! Can you believe it? I didn’t know about it until I read it on the purseforum. Enjoy your nee bag! 😍

Great video! I’d love to know if you considered any other LV bags before settling on the boulogne. And why you ultimately chose the boulogne. I’m looking at the boulogne and the v tote both in mono+black. Leaning to boulogne bc I feel like it can go dressy (chain) and casual and I like the strap versatility.

I’m not sure if you’re only into LV or if you venture out to other luxury brands but YSL has really nice card cases & small wallets. They are fairly priced as well and amazing quality.
I really like this one: MONOGRAM FRAGMENTS ZIPPERED CARD CASE IN GRAIN DE POUDRE EMBOSSED LEATHER. It’s thin and holds a good amount of cards and cash. I use it when I’m carrying around my Pochette accessories so I have more space in my bag for other things.

Not so much messed up as just proportionately it felt awkward. I wish they come out with the zip around they used to carry - I’d like that much better.

Love the straps. Very pretty once all the straps are on, how the gold chain hanging down kind of mirrors the curve of the top/opening. It’s artfully designed. 💕 Where was yours made? The inner stamp should say, or you got a card that prob said made in USA. I’m eyeing the new redo of the Favorite. So cute.
I think it says USA! I only saw one card that said USA and the rest said Paris.
I bought the same bag and love it! it is so versatile and beautiful 🥰 I guess the card holder is perfectly fine. it is just not filled up and the structure probably comes with the cards. I actually think it is better this way instead of being too structured because then it is just a struggle to get the cards out. but maybe I am wrong 😀

I received my Boulogne on Friday and return on the same day. My bag has 2 different types of key on the same chain, 1 of those have a lot of scratches. So sad 😩 I don't understand how they can ship me the bag like that without quality control.:(((

Have exactly the same bag in the black leather trimming. Been using her for a week and she's beginning to grow on me. I was initially hesitant as I had recently purchased the Odeon MM in monogram and black leather trimming. I felt this bag was like the Odeon sliced in half!! But now I do enjoy using her and she surprising carries a lot of my SLGs. For my height and body build, I prefer using the bag as a short or long shoulder bag or just using it with the gold chain rather than a crossbody bag. Do keep the bag as it really suited you in the pics when you modeled it.
I agree with you that it's unacceptable that the accordion style cardholder didn't arrive in prestine condition and you should return it. There are other LV card/business card holders which are cheaper and far more durable. I recently purchased the Slim Purse in monogram canvas with black leather and that too fits into this bag. I would return this bag and have them show you a new one. the zipper and canvas is warped!
I just picked mine up today in black trim. The chain and strap-definite PLUS. The canvas is VERY soft like the Nano Speedy SO I’d say it’s is not so much “warped” as it is just a very soft canvas and needs to have things in it. I will be ordering an organizer to give it more structure. Def more of a fall bag so I’ll see how it goes.

How tall are you? I love the bag so much especially because you can make it crossbody but it hits a little too high for my taste
I would recommend the Zoe compact wallet or the Rosalie coin purse as alternatives.

I find it very true to size! I am a 7 and I got a 37 ❤️ and the straps are adjustable so you can make it wider or more narrrow

I love this bag. I got it with the beige leather a few months back BUT! It came defected and the paint was not completed on the bag. So disappointment in quality they blamed corona for low quality checks. Bag is beautiful such a shame.

@@Chelsealynn2212 I dont have the boulogne yet. I was looking into it bc it looks spacious. I'm not into the Odeon as I thought I would be. 😩 The messenger feel/look didnt do it for me. I also disliked the zipper opening part bc reaching in to get stuff wasnt as practical as I thought it would be. The only thing I liked was the front pockets where I can easily grab my phone. Looks like the Boulogne has the same zipper style where it curves down. I might have to look into something else. 🥴
@@ph0_ yes, I like the odeon’s front pocket, too! But it’s always out of stock on the Louis Vuitton website. Maybe you could try the boulogne bag at the store see if you like it. It’s smaller than I expected. 😬

Hi Melissa, it surprisingly fits a lot in it. I can easily put a mini pouchette, card holder, 6 key ring, a mini notepad and my hairbrush 🙂
Yup very spacious inside. The bag is not too big or small.

@@melissapullano8793 You can fit a pair of sunglasses in a soft cloth pouch if you just say have a phone, a card holder and keys as well. Else you might scratch your lens trying to force the sunglasses into the bag.
