- Major. Vivek Jacob (Veteran, PARA SF) briefs Media on Operation Blue Freedom - Land World Record at Siachen Glacier.
It is the world's expedition by a team of people with disabilities to Siachen Glacier, the world's highest battlefield. The team of people with disabilities will comprise of civilians with disabilities, war Wounded veterans, and battle casualties. They will be trained by former Special Forces soldiers from Team CLAW (Conquer Land Air Water).

For me, Jacob sir is a real life personification of Gautam Buddha's quote "Be a lamp unto yourself". This entire journey was never about special forces or founding CLAW. It's all bout search of the self. Out of every thing else, the passion he has for life, is the most commendable trait IMO.

Thanks Sir, I have gone through all of them except car accident(Polo highline plus, not my mistake at all) which happened post me travelling Hyderabad to gokarna and along that stretch in to kerala in 2018 June and i was admitted in Chandigarh Airforce hospital due to Auto accident on my way to coaching centre for 5th class entry army school staying in Airforce quarters 31 secror B, in the past 2 years i travelled from Hyderabad to kashi then to amritsar, to Srinagar then to delhi(walked more than 120kms and sold away my 15000 watch for 2 bidi packs😁) then travelled to Goa for first time and then to Kerala and then to tamilnadu and then to tirupati then to Hyderabad, i used railways and stayed only on water for few days no clothes i started with AC 3 tier though in my first trip, then in the 2nd trip i moved to bengal, sikkim, dehradun, pathankot, dharmashala,Srinagar, assam,madhyapradesh, then to rajasthan to gujarat, stop in Margoa, then to karnataka, kerala, kanyakumari, panducherry, all by train one trip I walked a bit. Again when working in Pune i moved to manali, kasol, leh, Srinagar(Ramzan day) and in between i did a trek any step miss dead 😅 and same in sikkim i tried to swim a river but cant do it for the first time so lost my shoes(NBA) near ITBP centre next to NTPC sikkim, all i did it alone, 1st time without even phone, 2nd time phone delivered post service dead due to wrong service done, 3rd time i missed train so then i took a plane as i need to attend my Office next day in Pune but covered all the forts near to Pune in 1 day. Very good coincidence Sir, Can i get a chance to meet u Sir. this is my mail Id as commented using since 2011.
In all this journey i never slept in hotels except in Phatankot just since buses to darmashala run in the morning so just for stay i slept in bus station. 😅😂
