  • The east wind has been blowing a gale along the south coast for a few weeks now, with a few nice days in between. In this video we are scratching along the coastline for some smaller pan fish. Catches were a few black tail, stone bream and crayfish.

Eish everything looks delicious. How was the stone bream? Use to call them stinky’s . Good to see there is still some good life in the rocks . Spring low is great time to explore. Very pretty little lantern fish, used to catch some beauties in the Transkei .
    Thanks for Sharing 👍

The stinky's aren't to bad, bleeding them helps..not a favorite though..also got a few good lanterns in TK over the years..Mdumbi and Haven area..the good old days.👍tight lines!

Hi guys, I really enjoy your videos, but there is one thing that bothers me though. The music that you play over the video is sometimes so loud that I cant hear what you are saying. The soothing sounds of the ocean is more that enough.
    Keep up the good work

Thanks for the comment, will definitely do without the noise on the next one..the oceans sounds are all that's needed..tight lines 👍

Hi guys, how do you make your blacktail trace to catch the fish in rocky areas.
