Thank you for these extra episodes! I was so disappointed with the finale because there was no need for the director to kill her off at the end. This gave it the happy ending they needed.

They shld make another sequel to continue this drama, Goodbye Princess is so beautiful yet tragic. Since they have 3 lifetimes entwined together, give them another lifetime but with a happy foever ending. Love this couple, love the story but too sad an ending, many cannot accept it. We Fans love happy endings for our dramas, movies and books since it’s entertainment hence our escape frm reality ... dont need more tragic endings as too much of it already in reality.
Oh I quite agree... but.... I remember the modern day sequel to the popular original Scarlet Heart (2011)... I was so happy that they did a modern day story (Scarlet Heart 2, 2014) for that one, but when I actually watched it...it... was... very badly done... Firstly they couldn't get the entire original cast, then they had to cut out the bit where it showed the female lead time travelling and her memories of her "past life" (due to govt restrictions on time travelling shown on TV), and some pretty forced parallel to the original story. I don't know, but the happy ending turned into a mess of cheesy cliches that had some Korean drama vibes to it. So... probably better to leave this one this way, and hope next time the lead couple star alongside one another it would be a happy ending.
cherrybello I agree with you on that point. However, if they really want to make a sequel (not remake of same) they shld not wait for more than 2yrs as it wld mke the sequel messy. On the other hand, having the lead actors cast together again on another story makes lots of sense. Just like what they’re doing wth Xu Kai n Bai Lu pairing in yet another upcoming drama. I think they’re doing same for cast of Legend Of Yunxi, both main casts on another are phenomenal too ... all these in screen couples have such great chemistry.
a rumor said the same production of GMP including the director and casts are going to make a new historical drama but was shelved due to the pandemic.should have start last month of May. i hope and pray its really true i want to see them together again in a happy ending
in this epilogue she wore a skirt with a slit in the middle when its freezing cold. in the BTS Xingxu had to put his jacket around her because she cant bear it anymore. so gentleman of him always taking care of her needs to think hes younger than her

GuXiaoWu's here, i'm Here." And before XF kill herself, she asked LiChengyin to fullfil his 2 left unfinished promise to her; never attack Li Province and to stay alive and well.
Rewatching this drama in 2024. Still cried bcos the story. This drama is the best even with sad ending. Who still rewatch again??
