1.3l 4cyl engine is not that bad with 160hp. Mercedes use it because cla is an entry level model for the brand, it needs to be cheaper than c class or cle.
@@alexislaine56 it may habe the hp but there is probably a lack of nm. If you want to drive through the mountains you will have to stay in lower gears for longer, the car gets louder and you always have to stay in that certain rpms-range that delivers you the needed hp. I am not totaly against those small engines, but if i bought a mercedes, which is not a cheap cat, i wouldnt want such a small engine in it. The 1.5l engine would just be way more comfortable than the 1.3l engine even if they had the same hp output and you cant tell me, that it would make a real difference for mercedes haha.

Measuring fuel consumption in a city is difficult because every city is different, due to factors like traffic, the number of roundabouts, traffic lights, and whether the city is steep or flat. For example, the same car might need around 8 liters in one city and around 12 liters in another city.

But people voted at large majority for country so it's okay. I think autobahn speed consumption still can give an idea on how is a car at steady speed, let's say 80 or 100 kmh, on country too. It can seem a double . Probably , it would be more complete half video in country and half in city . It certainly would give a more precise idea.
