It is impressive. I mean Andrew's suit is not as old as Tobey's suit, that suit is like over 20 years old so it makes since that it has worn out. Andrew's suit is not even as old as that it is like 7 years old which is close to 10 years. It does have some sign of being worn out but not that bad and still be looking really good

Edit: so it seems like a bunch of idiots in the replies are just saying "more like a downgrade", the suit literally looks identical so no not a downgrade but he probably upgraded the fabrics to make it more durable and probably has some better lenses. It's not "techy" but it's definitely been upgraded since technology has changed since 2007 and it's Peter Parker what do you expect?
Exactly. After 20 years of fighting villians on a daily basis, he's bound to have updated his suit at some point in time, either due to damage or just to make it look more visually appealing.

I honestly didn’t even notice the difference just because it looks good. I didn’t have to think whether or not it was accurate as long as it’s Toby, the suits accurate enough to me
I would of said “throughout the years of Maguire being Spider-Man in that universe he gotten tired of re stitching his suit n started to get lazy with the web pattern and used different material to make it last longer

Im not gonna lie i prefer this brand new suit way more, love the darker/brighter color scheme rather than the weird light redish orange they had for his suit. Also giving his lenses a whiter tone is 10 times better.

My fav Tom Holland suit will always be the Civil War/Homecoming suit that Tony made him. The kept the classic red an blue pattern with little bit of tweak aka the single black stripe on each arm.

I really loved the white raised webs on Tobey's original suit, which made it the most unique and different from other Spider-Man suits.

There’s something about the original Raimi suit that just looks so fucking good. It’s the one thing that cannot be replicated in modern day.
It was designed by James Acheson. They should have consulted him for this movie. The one in the movie looks more cartoony than the first Raimi movie one.
To me, it doesn’t matter what suit he’s wearing or which ones better. I’m just happy that Tobey Maguire is back as Spider-Man. And when I saw him appear in no way home, I was so happy and I felt like I was like 5 years old again watching 1&2 on dvd in 2006. He will always be my favorite Spider-Man and my childhood hero. He was the reason that I got into Spider-Man and got to the comics, got in to the cartoons, got in to the video games, and got to see other versions like Andrew and Tom, and I wouldn’t have done cosplays. Tobey was the reason for everything to me. ❤️🕸️😎

Yeah i notice the difference since the beginning. The NWH suit is a bit darker web, contrary to the OG which much more silver, also the NWH suit's web is less emboss than the OG, which make the 3D feel of the suit is almost gone.
Unfortunately, those 2 characteristics of Tobey's suit is the most important that define it as it is. I love the OG suit way better than the one in NWH.
Or maybe Peter was tired of sewing his suit a LOT during some of his battles, I guess.
Given how old this version of Peter Parker is, you can tell MJ stitches it for him after his battles, and he's responsible for making new suit pieces if stitches can't cover it

I think the suit looks better personally I always thought tobeys suit was good but missing somthing and they fixed that in no way home. It looks rly good
i like how the webbing patterns are a lot more reminiscent of the ditko designs. It gives the impression that this is the classic spider-man and i feel it helps him stand out compared to andrew and tom a bit more in that retrospect
The fact that it was so similar after all that time is more surprising, lore-wise. You’d think he would have changed or upgraded it more.

I like the old one more to be honest. I don’t like that they changed the color of the line on the rim of the eyes. Silver was cool and also it matched with the webbing pattern on the suit. Even the design I liked old one which is that it had more pointy edged eyes
I definitely like the updated color scheme with the more saturated red and blue.
I loved the movie but the ending was not it because Peter Parker and zen days loved each other untill Dr Strange said “everyone is going to forget that Peter was spider man” that was SO SAD 😞

With all the damage Tobey's Spider-Man had probably taken over the years, it's reasonable to assume that an in-universe explanation is he keeps making newer suits with the materials available to him throughout the years.
In every Raimi movie, they made a new suit for Tobey, but they always tried to make each one look roughly similar. But, unsurprisingly, the MCU crew messed up and made the suit noticibly different.
It's honestly not that big of a deal. Even though I like the original suit more, there's elements of the new one I like a lot, and overall it's just a Spidey-Suit. It's only slightly different. Same basic design. Same actor. Years later. It happens.
You'd think these costumes would've been properly stored and preserved.
The suit hasn’t been ironed in ages nor washed. The thing that kept the webs in place has degraded too. It’s not like it would magically stay.

When they all swinging together and land on the statue in order of who came first, fucking genius shit made me cry so much. Tobey was my childhood bro even tho i was jus always waitin to see spidey on the screen, i understood peter parker too as i got older.
Great now I can't unsee it. The super raised webbing on the original suit looks so much cooler and intimidating to me. It almost gives the suit a slightly armored, or more protective look. But I didn't notice this in NWH, so I guess it's fine.
They still did a pretty damn good job recreating it, movie suits aren't meant to be reused, look at the amount of Deadpool costumes the movie used
Well his Peter Parker did aged on the story hell even Doc Oct said he's grown up so it only makes sense that on his own timeline he made a new suit
I love how the Indominus tries to make the Venatosaurus her goons instead of killing them, it displays her intelligence.
I like to think that after Tobey’s Spider-Man got the black suit off, he redesigned his red and blue suit to look more friendly and less like the menacing black suit he once had.
I wish his eyes where more silvery like the og one because it was such an iconic part for me but it’s still a great suit/recreation

It looked the same to me, it’s also important to mention lighting, the og suit looked brighter and more pink red because of the lighting from the cameras used in the og trilogy

What you also need to remember is that you are not looking at Spider-Man from the end of Spider-Man three, but the Spider-Man, from the future of that, and therefore the suit might have changed as he may have made upgrades

This version of the webbed suit honestly looks like a mix of the original suit and the tasm 2 suit. Even though overall I prefer the original suit I do actually prefer this versions colour and the black around the eyes

I always go back and forth for the No Way Home suit. In some shots it looks nice while in other shots it doesn’t. I can’t keep a strong opinion on it, sometimes I like it, other times I don’t.
