The thing about Gendry is that no ones knows or really cares about some bastard kid of a dead king, Gendry poses no threat to Jon as the North has left the rest of the Kingdom and now have there own king anyway.
Jon doesn't want the throne. He doesn't care whose on it as long as they're good at it. He cares about one thing and that's stopping the white walkers.
You really don't understand the characters and the storyline... 1. Especially the interaction between Gendry and Jon, it is supposed to mirror the relationship between Ned and Robert in their prime not Gendry being rude to Jon. 2. Jon is like his biological father and uncle, he has no interest in politics and hates killing, and wouldn't want to be king of the seven kingdoms even though he has a stronger claim than Dany. 3. Brienne can't go, she is sworn to protect Sansa and can't leave her in times of war. 4. Cersei is pregnant but is going to have a miscarriage, remember Maggie the Frog's prophecy. 5. Either Jon or Dany (maybe both) is going to die before the whole series comes to a close. 6.This story is not going to have a happy ending, like Jon and Dany sitting on the throne together, or anything close to it, to quote Ramsey Bolton "If you think this is going to have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention".
Dany can't have children. Sam can't be anyone's hand, he took the black. Gendry has no right to be king, he is a bastard. Come on, Grace, it's like you are not even trying.
I think you're taking the Jon-Gendry banter way out of proportion lol The dudes were just having fun with each other, a nod to the fans of Robert and Neds relationship.
Neto del Toro Also, is not having strong housesa good plan for Jon? Can't Jon legitimize Gendry to make him the true Baratheon? An alliance between Baratheon, Targaryeon, Lanister and Stark would unite the kingdoms fractured by Little finger and Cersi
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
I think Dany landed in front of Jon in order to intimidate him a little a reassert her dominace but was obviously surprised to see how well Drogon and Jon connected!
Wait, how'd you get that from the Dany/Jon/Drogon scene? Yes she likes him but that scene was about her being surprised to see someone actually getting that close to one of her dragons, especially Drogon. Also, Gendry is a bastard and has no claim and Jon isn't even remotely interested in the throne.
If anything Grace, I think Gendry and Jon relationship parallels their fathers. It was almost as if I was watching a young Ned and Robert. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if events play out the same way they did for Robert and Ned with the exception of Jon on the throne this time around.
Uhm, I honestly think that Jon is a reluctant leader. He leads because he knows what's at stake by letting a non-believer (of White Walkers) rule. In previous seasons, I think he's made it very clear that he doesn't want to be in control. This might work in Dany's favor if they are to wed, because I think he'd be more than willing to rule as a unit, or maybe even relinquish the throne to her altogether. She'd take some of the stress of being King off his shoulders. As far as Brienne goes, she totally shouldn't be on the suicide squad imo (ngl, it'd be great to see, though). She vowed to watch over Sansa and Arya, so while I think her skill as a fighter is going to waste standing around at Winterfell, it's her duty to be near the sisters and guard them.
There's sooo much I could say about this episode. Loved it!! But nothing beat seeing Gendry again. "Thought you might still be rowing." Some nice fan service right there.
I think at the very least, Sam will make it to the very end, by rule of foreshadowing- The Bear (Jorah's father) expressly said to him, 'I forbid you die.' :)
Grace actually dany can't have children because of the blood magic that killed her baby in season one so the dragons are really the only children shall ever have and I don't think that Jon Snow can have children either because he was brought back from the Dead so they don't have the same incest problems and turnouts that Jaime and cersei do😂😂
Toned Down Violence I think the show might be straying a little bit from the books then and George has said that Jon is basically a white brought back to life by fire but his blood no longer flows so maybe he can have kids but I doubt it
I'm not convinced she's even pregnant. She could be just playing her brother. At any rate, no child will come of it regardless. Her prophecy is nearly fulfilled.
A lot of this speculation revolves around Jon wanting the throne, but so far from all we've seen Jon is a reluctant leader, he doesn't lead because he wants glory, or songs about him, he is just trying to keep people safe.
Tyrion could be aware of Samm's existence, but currently Samm is still a sworn brother of the Night's Watch. He has no titles or lands; all of which he had to denounce upon taking his vows.
Jon says he doesn't want to rule so i wonder if daenerys and him get married would she be in charge of ruling and day to day stuff and he be just the conqueror. Like Aegon and his sister wives. His sisters were really the ones who did all the ruling after the conquest. The one thing against this is when jon became king of the north and didn't listen to Sansa so that could be a bad sign/indication, not sure.
Why do we disagree on completely everything?? I mean polar opposites You like little finger, I like Arya You like Sansa, I hate Sansa You want Mr. Friendzone to get with Danny???? WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am also tired of people calling Dany the bad guy for killing the Tarlys. She gave them a choice and they refused the Wall. When she didn't do that in Mereen, she got civil war. Besides, Gendry also murdered two guards but no one batted an eye.
The series is in the middle of season 7 while I, as a loyal fan of the books, am still waiting for the six book to come out and avoiding all spoilers from the series (it's so hard and tempting though).
After Jon you dont understand Gendry's character.....He blurted out that he was Roberts bastard because he believed in Jon. He knew that his father and Ned were friends and that allowed him to trust Jon and agreed to go to war with him. If he wasn't trustworthy than he wouldn't voluntarily agree to go to fight someone else's battle and possibly die. And i don't see how Gendry is stupid. Going to fight with the wight walkers ain't stupid, that's heroic. And he didn't make fun of Jon. That scene just showed/reflected how Ned and Robert's friendship was through Gendry and Jon. That was a fan service scene to show how it would have been during young Robert and young Ned. And AGAIN Jon is not interested in the throne Grace!!!!!! so stop saying that Gendry is viable candidate and threat to Jon for the throne. If Jon could he would just beat the Night King and live the rest of his life out in Winterfell.
Grace your forgetting that Jon doesn't want the throne, and neither does Gendry. And even if Gendry did want it Cersei would've had him killed the minute she found out one of Robert's bastards was alive, he would have no chance of getting it.
@BeyondTheTrailer You missed the most important part of the episode: Dany has no longer a valid claim to the throne, because Jon isn't a bastard (that was the point of the Sam and Gilly scene). Rhaegar, her brother and Jons father, was next in line to the throne, so every title Rhaegar had is now Jons. This sets up for a possible conflict between Daenerys and Jon. And btw. Gendry has no claim to the throne because he is a bastard.
You're way off on your assessment of Dany & Jorah's relationship. At this point Jorah, even though he loves her, isn't holding out any hope of anything beyond serving her. Dany isn't leading him on in any way. She loves him as a friend and he understands this. The relief she feels that he's found a cure is very apparent. They've been a team since the beginning and even though she banished him for a time, there will never be anyone she trusts more than Jorah now that she's forgiven him. Jorah volunteering to capture a wight is nothing more than him wanting to serve her the best way he knows how. He's trying to repay her for taking him back.
Brienne actress was busy filming Star Wars 8, that's why you don't see her so much in this season. Also, the worry you think Jon should have of Gendry doesn't matter cuz, hate on Jon as much as you want, but the fact of the matter is, Jon doesn't want the throne, so wouldn't care. He's just trying to defeat the Night King. It's summed up perfectly when he first meets Dany and says everyone is a child, claiming the rules aren't fair while they fight this war, the real enemy is beyond the wall.
Jon Snow does not care about the iron throne, im sure he will gladly give it to Gendry if he was able to. Sam disowned his name when he became a member of the Nights Watch.
Your videos are usually informative and very well thought out but while watching this one, I found myself asking "What on earth is she talking about?" "Cersei aligning with the night king?" That's complete nonsense.
Grace, you are reading these characters all wrong, especially Gendry. Jon & Gendry were bonding as men do, by teasing each other with light hearted joking. No challenges since Jon doesn't even want the Iron throne.
To be honest Grace I don't think Jon wants to be King he doesn't even wanna be King of the North why would he want the Iron Throne? I feel like he'd say "nah Dany you can have the throne" :)
I can't wait till you watch episode 6!!! It was sooo good, i want to hear your opinion on it, there are many mixed emotions right now from people who've seen it... x3
If im correct The Tarly house is technically no more since Sam took the black. Think Cersei would need to re-legitimize him or whoever is in charge by the time someone tells him his family is gone. COurse he shouldn't be so close to Gilly if he's still honoring the Black. Which sidebar did Sam seem annoyed with Gilly in his scene where she gets cut off by his hissy fit or was it just the stres of the Maesters bleeding over to his relationship with her?
I think you're a little too optimistic about how this show is going to end. GRRM is not going to end this story with the typical good vs evil battle, and the most popular character declared the victor as he sits on the iron throne alongside his incestuous, also popular, bride.
Sam is still bound by his Night's Watch vows, the only way he can take over the mantle of his house is if the NW is disbanded. Although I suppose that's possible when/if the long night is totally defeated.
Grace, the thing is, the annulment bit is very important. Jon is the trueborn son of Prince Rhaegar; his claim to the iron throne is STRONGER than Dany's is.
Neither did Robert. And he has more rights then anyone who else who is not a Lannister and not an outsider. The other lords can choose him because there isn't another option
Only one thing matters for claiming the throne. Who the Lords want to follow. And what they don't want to follow is a Laninster or an Outsider. Gendry gives them a way out. if the Northerns were able to accept Ramsay, surely events can unfold to allow them to accept Gendry.
Hit the nail on the head with Arya. She is a blunt instrument. (Word play not intended.) She has been bugging me a lot this season and if I think about it's a problem that has been around for a really long time. She thinks shes more mature and world weary than she actually is.
Quantum Witcher Until the sun sets in the east and some thing, something, something. It'd be cool if the series ended with Dany giving birth to her grandnephew-son.
I completely agree how Arya was out of line being accusatory towards Sansa for residing in their parents' room and saying it was because Sansa likes nice things because it made her feel better than everyone else. Who else should take the castle's master bedroom? If she didn't, it would've come across as a sign of weakness to everyone who swore allegiance to her. Whatever Sansa's reasons were, it was a smart move and Arya was reading too much into it. Arya is smart, but she's not that smart. Little Finger has much more life experience than she does so I wasn't surprised either that he played her.
I forgot Dany didn't know about Tyrion entering the dungeon where she locked up the dragons. Tyrion did it first and was able to get close to her dragons so I'm not sure about the argument of being a Targaryen helps you get closer to the dragons. Going by that argument, we could also safely say that Tyrion is part Targaryen then. But I agree. Dany shouldn't be happy with her dragons, especially the largest one Drogon, getting close to other people... especially when she knows (for now) that the person is not a Targaryen nor could help her secure the Iron Throne. Remember we didn't see Jon bend the knee so technically, Jon is still a competition for ALL SEVEN Kingdoms including the North even though he's not interested in the Game of Thrones.
The king of the north can release someone of their nights watch vow. And Sam can serve the watch the best as Warden of the South. And the Tarly's are the one with that current position.
Technically he's the eldest, and maybe last, son of his house right now. I think thats a loophole to get him out of the watch kinda like Jon dying was.
Red beards with not-so-red hair is a common feature amongst the Scotch-Irish of the world....my hair has subtle red natural hilights that can only be seen in the brightest sunlight but my goatee comes in a deep coppery-red...my father and G-Pa were the same.....it's not always a bad dye job
I can't believe you left out the fact that Samwell totally didn't pick up the reference to "annulment". If SHOULD have followed that thread and realized who Jon Snow really was...NOT a bastard, but the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne!
Technically Jon and Dany go before Gendry, and also he would have to be legitimized. Though I am hoping Dany legitimizes Gendry and he gets the Stormlands, imo it'd be great to see the Targaryens and Baratheons make up.
Sorry, but do you even know who you're talking about in these reviews? Jon has never wanted to be king, he doesn't even necessarily like being King in the North. I also really doubt that Gendry won't even be at the slightest of focus for the rest of the series.
Dany suitor options. Doesn't it need to be a converted Jon snow/targarion? If she marries a tormond. Don't she become a tormond, which is end of her household line??
I'm not sure if they've made the fact that Whitewalkers and Wights are two different things clear enough in the show. The Whitewalkers are the Icey 'others' led by the Night King and created by the children of the forest. The way they create more Whitewalkers is by changing human babies. The Wights are the army of undead raised by the Whitewalkers and are simply zombies. 👍Hope that helps anyone that isn't sure of the difference
Great video, except for you Gendry points. That's just stupid, at this point Jon isn't thinking about ruling...cmon Grace. It's not about the throne anymore. It's about surviving Winter.
With Littlefinger manipulating Arya, I'm not sure if she'll stay much longer. Since Brienne has fulfilled her vow, I wonder if she will accompany Arya back to Kings landing and that's why she wasn't apart of the squad!! So exciting! I would love a Brienne and Arya combo, a bad to the bone fighter/knight, and an assassin.
I think I'm with you about Cersi. All she craves is POWER at any cost. She doesn't care about the people. I think she would rather have everything destroyed than to give up being ruler of the 7 Kingdoms. If I can't have it noone will mentality!
Hey, Gendry's cool! I don't think he's any kind of contender for the throne, and would be shocked if he showed ANY interest in it! I think he just wants to fight and have a great adventure. And see Arya again! :D
I dont think Jon could EVER overpower Dany. He couldnt even look her in the eye when they met. but the writers ar emaking her care an awful lot about him
I don't think Jon Snow is that ambitious, he's more the reluctant leader. Dani doesn't have to worry about vying for the throne, at least not from him I believe.
Dany can't have children after that stint with the attempt to resurrect Drogo. So it doesn't matter who she marries for that reason. She is probably going to end up dead anyway, after she liberates Westeros from Cersei.
I agree with you about Cersei. She will see the White Walkers as an opportunity. Of course it will eventually blow up in her face as all her plans do, but she never sees the full threat. However I think THIS is what will turn Jaime against her, because he will see the threat and be appalled at Cersei.
Waited this long for her video to find her crapping on the closest thing we get to a Roberts rebellion prequel, and araya calling sansa out, yes she is wrong for wanting to cut the Lord's of the north heads off but still she's doing what she's been doing for the past 7 years learning through experience...
Fun thing about Jon and Gendry: They might be similar to Nedd and Robert, but also to Aegon Targaryen and Orys Baratheon, Aegon's 2nd in command, possibly his half-brother and the first Baratheon when it became a noble House. I wonder if that also gets a bit development in the show, but we'll see
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” - Jon Snow, facing Drogon on the cliffs of Dragonstone. (Full disclosure: actually a Frank Herbert quote from Dune.)
I think i disagreed with almost every one of these points. Jon and Dany would make an amazing power couple, no question. Cersei wont form an alliance with the Night King, let alone marry him, and I think it would be a disservice to the books to give the Lady Stoneheart story to Cersei over Catelyn. I think Sam proved he's too impulsive to be a proper leader when he ignored the crucial piece of info Gilly happened upon, and Arya wasn't out of line at all in my opinion. Sansa is subtly trying to take Jon's position because of Littlefinger and Arya is right to suspect the pair of them.
Jorah over Jon makes no sense in any world. In marriage Jon brings a united kingdom with him and killing him brings years of war and possibly life long turmoil with the north and the vale (via Sansa and littlefinger). And only jon, the hound and (maybe) Jorah are walking outta there, Gendry is the emotional death of the week, which is why Brienne didn't go with.
6:58 Can Dany still have kids though? In the books when she was poisoned/magicked and lost Kal Drogo's child and which also left her barren. If the show holds true to that plot-line from the books that leaves Jon Snow as the only Targaryen capable of having heirs...
As far as Jon Snow "being stupid" if he lets Gendry come back because he could compete with him for the throne... Jon doesn't even know that he's a Targayen yet so how does that make any sense?
The thing about Gendry is that no ones knows or really cares about some bastard kid of a dead king, Gendry poses no threat to Jon as the North has left the rest of the Kingdom and now have there own king anyway.
Jon doesn't want the throne. He doesn't care whose on it as long as they're good at it. He cares about one thing and that's stopping the white walkers.
Right. Which is why I'm confused why Grace would even bring up Jon's "competition" for the throne. Its like she's not even paying attention.
Littlefinger cares
I really think gendry doesn't care about the throne one bit, it's just a good reflection of robert and ned's banter
You really don't understand the characters and the storyline...
1. Especially the interaction between Gendry and Jon, it is supposed to mirror the relationship between Ned and Robert in their prime not Gendry being rude to Jon.

Jon Snow doesn't want the throne whatsoever. Not everyone is playing the game of thrones.
Dany can't have children. Sam can't be anyone's hand, he took the black. Gendry has no right to be king, he is a bastard. Come on, Grace, it's like you are not even trying.
I think you're taking the Jon-Gendry banter way out of proportion lol
The dudes were just having fun with each other, a nod to the fans of Robert and Neds relationship.
Neto del Toro plus the guy that plays jon has said that the writers like to make fun of his height through the writing
Yeah really. it was Jon and Gendry bonding, in the same way Ned and Robert did.
It was a little like Jon and Tyrion greeting each other. "Bastard of Winterfell." "Dwarf of Casterly Rock."
I would appreciate any help you can give me
Arya is basically there for quality control making sure no one is going to betray Jon
Arya is a clueless physcopath.
Lol really how do you figure, she has a list
I think Dany landed in front of Jon in order to intimidate him a little a reassert her dominace but was obviously surprised to see how well Drogon and Jon connected!
I hope Jon will ride Rhaegal because he is named after his father
It's Aegon.
We'll see.
Do you want Jon to ride his daddy?
I'm down for that
+Dolan Duk :p
+steven boyer what u mean
Wait, how'd you get that from the Dany/Jon/Drogon scene? Yes she likes him but that scene was about her being surprised to see someone actually getting that close to one of her dragons, especially Drogon. " who may or may not be wearing a lady's cloak just trying to stay alive" 😅🤣😂 best description ever of how they failed Littlefingers character
I enjoy watching you turn adult drama into a bachelor episode.
There's sooo much I could say about this episode. Loved it!! But nothing beat seeing Gendry again. "Thought you might still be rowing." Some nice fan service right there.

Brian Racalbuto its not confirmed that hon jon cant have kids.....and dany's period started again in the books so who knows.
Actually the dragon's birth was supposed to have fixed her infertility given it was a magical moment, she can have kids now.
Toned Down Violence I think the show might be straying a little bit from the books then and George has said that Jon is basically a white brought back to life by fire but his blood no longer flows so maybe he can have kids but I doubt it
Maybe only a Targaryen can make her pregnant.
The Lord protector will provide... lol
gendry calling him short is a call back to robert and ned banter at the beginning
Cersei will die in child birth. For filling Maggie vision. Her younger brother will kill her and she will only have 3 kids
I'm not convinced she's even pregnant. She could be just playing her brother. At any rate, no child will come of it regardless. Her prophecy is nearly fulfilled.
Maggie the Frog only told her she would have 3 children with the King, technically. Although technically they were not his children anywayyyy
aLOOF gOALS she said three kids in ALL
We can only hope so.
fucking spoilers
Grace: Here are my thoughts and predictions.
Leaks: What the hell show are you watching?
The comment section is dark and full of spoilers...
Watch episodes 6 last night (yeah it was leaked online) it's GREAT! I'm not going to spoil it for you but your wrong about what's coming!
Robert Armstrong
If only HBO made another mistake and leaked episode 7 as well.
Robert Armstrong omg wasn't it?!
Robert Armstrong right game changer for the rest of the season
the one where DRAGON WAS KILLED and TURNED BY THE NIGHT KING?
Nope, Viserys was killed.
was waiting for this for days. yesss. can’t wait to hear your opinion on Jon Targaryen/Stark...
Woah your brain works so differently from mine in terms of how you interpret what's going on that it's almost like we're watching different shows
A lot of this speculation revolves around Jon wanting the throne, but so far from all we've seen Jon is a reluctant leader, he doesn't lead because he wants glory, or songs about him, he is just trying to keep people safe.
You are forgetting Daenerys cannot conceive Grace. She cannot have children, which is why she calls her dragons her children.
In a darker universe everyone is reviewing the leaked episode.
Why do we disagree on completely everything?? I mean polar opposites
You like little finger, I like Arya
You like Sansa, I hate Sansa
You want Mr. Friendzone to get with Danny???? WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
PyromaticIdiot completely agree I mean I love Grace but I could not disagree with her more
I am also tired of people calling Dany the bad guy for killing the Tarlys. She gave them a choice and they refused the Wall. When she didn't do that in Mereen, she got civil war. Besides, Gendry also murdered two guards but no one batted an eye.

7:00 "have heirs to the throne"
Dany can't have childern any more because of the blood ritual performed by Mirri in season 1
Grace your forgetting that Jon doesn't want the throne, and neither does Gendry. And even if Gendry did want it Cersei would've had him killed the minute she found out one of Robert's bastards was alive, he would have no chance of getting it.
@13:01 Sam got that quote from his father. It was meant to demean Sam.
I believe the line about reading about the deeds of better men... That was one of the last things Lord Tarley said to Sam before he pushed him away.
@BeyondTheTrailer You missed the most important part of the episode: Dany has no longer a valid claim to the throne, because Jon isn't a bastard (that was the point of the Sam and Gilly scene). Dany can't have babies due to be reborn in the fire. It's explained more in the books. She can only become pregnant by Jon I think
Jon Snow does not care about the iron throne, im sure he will gladly give it to Gendry if he was able to. Sam disowned his name when he became a member of the Nights Watch.
gendry was brought in to make dragon glass/ Valerian steel swords.
Dany can't continue her bloodline. The stuff with the witch in season one made sure she couldn't have any more children.
Grace, one major flaw in your observations. Jon Snow DOES NOT want to be king of the 7 kingdoms. He's not even comfortable being "King of the North".
To be honest Grace I don't think Jon wants to be King he doesn't even wanna be King of the North why would he want the Iron Throne? I feel like he'd say "nah Dany you can have the throne" :)
Jon has no care for the Iron Throne, he just wants to get ready for the war for the dawn. And Gendry is a bastard, he has no claim for the throne.
I can't wait till you watch episode 6!!! It was sooo good, i want to hear your opinion on it, there are many mixed emotions right now from people who've seen it... x3
Indif101 will yall stop with that lol yall making me want to watch it more😂
Indif101 yes definitely. Omg
like when DRAGON WAS KILLED and TURNED BY NIGHT KING?
BEND THE KNEEEEE DANY!!!
And... and while you're there....
Gendry is baseborn bastard. Him momma is common. He has no rights to any throne.
None talks of the posibility of Jon and Dany ruling TOGETHER on equal terms
He will bend the knee eventually...
I always enjoy Grace's reviews, but I disagree with her 80% of the time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Danny's barren. At least in the books. So 'continuing the blood line' with Jon seems unlikely.
exactly
Griffin Hicks its the same in the show. For now
Quantum Witcher Until the sun sets in the east and some thing, something, something. It'd be cool if the series ended with Dany giving birth to her grandnephew-son.
People argue whether she got her period or she miscarried
Is it for sure though that shes barren maybe shes not as barren as she things
Samuel is still assigned to The Wall. He's supposed to be to the Maister up there.
The biggest threat in Game of Thrones right now, is the lack of budget.
Littlefinger is gonna be killed by Arya's plot armor. Not even a spoiler, it's just how predictable this show has become.
1:50
when you said going for a ride I immediately started thinking of Aladdin for some reason
The Targaryen reveal for Jon might be painful for him. Just a thought.
grace doesn't realize anyra and sansa are playing little finger hahaha
Dany can't have children after that stint with the attempt to resurrect Drogo. So it doesn't matter who she marries for that reason. She is probably going to end up dead anyway, after she liberates Westeros from Cersei.
i smiled coyly at myself when grace mentioned the dragon budget, knowing how the writers use that budget in the leaked episode
I'd need a serious drink after petting Drogon
Been waiting for this all week. Glad its finally here.
You are so wrong. The gendry and jon dynamic mimics their fathers relationship. Whitty banter and jokes.
I will permit it to
pass over me and through me.
You should've went for that inappropriate joke, Grace 😂
How can someone who watch GoT for years but still know so little
arya is not that of a fool, she's smarter than that. I hope she outplays little finger.
@10:02 the idea was to capture a solder/a thrall (a wight)...not one of the "Others".
12:50 You know he was repeating what his dad said to him at the dinner table, right? "Reading about the actions of better men"?
If Arya tipped her hand it wasn't accidentally.
She is a "servant" of Death, Infinity, and... Chaos
Samwell gave up all inheritance when he took the black, so can become the lord of the house
Jon does not give a flying fuvk about that damn iron throne
As far as Jon Snow "being stupid" if he lets Gendry come back because he could compete with him for the throne... Jon doesn't even know that he's a Targayen yet so how does that make any sense?
