The grand launching of the first ever Pangilis Festival 2017.
A yearly tradition of celebrating the transition of governance that happens at the very next day (17th of July) of the fiesta of the towns "segunda patron" the blessed Virgen Mary of Mount Carmel (16th of July).
The Pangilis Festival is the recipient of the 2017 National Commission of Culture & the Arts [NCCA] Competitive Grants Program : LIBAGON, SOUTHERN LEYTE PHILIPPINES
