Very, very nicely done. I love the idea of the same briefing software being used for the Stonehenge personnel, plus the added touch of focusing on the larger fragments. A part of me wishes the map didn't have fanfiction i.e. the Asadal Mountains, but it doesn't detract from the video quality at all. Thank you for making this :D
I love how the CGI has this dated feel to it. Not saying you did a bad job but it reminds me of the FMV's you'd see in Command & Conquer, CyberJudas, classic Twisted Metal games, Classic Resident Evil 1-3, etc.
Hey, u/knzp here. The briefing and blender animations turned out great! I never got to use the map for its intended purpose, so I'm glad to see the vector trace getting a second life here. Fantastic work!
Really. Really great. Ever since I was in elementary school, I've loved the lean, sophisticated design of Stonehenge. Thanks for the seriously great video.
I enjoyed the computer and shell loading sequence things that aren't really showed if you do feel like making another little Stonehenge animation you should animate whenever Stonehenge itself gets hit and is unable to intercept the asteroid which takes out faribontes capital
I remember, when Stonehenge was actually active, the command crews gave priority to fragments that direct threatened large population centers over areas that had none. Obviously this didn't complete succeed as evidence at Farbanti
Actually, that was due to an oversight. Stonehenge proper was NOT on the priority defense target list, so one of its railgun power plants got hit. The one powering the gun that was right about to intercept the Farbanti fragment, to be specific.

What are the Asadal mountains?

It wasn't intended, but as I was making it, i liked the style - so stuck with it. The satellite came out very C&C like.
It's actually very decent and if the textures applied were more dirty/worn, it would catch your eye much less. However this IS a new installation.
I think it’s just something with the camera movement

Thank you for your future service Mobius one. You're my favourite of the aces :P Such a shame you have to destroy stonehenge.
@@FictionalHorizon Indeed. It is quite a marvel
Man that was awesome how you included the magazine room where the projectiles are stored.
Thank you. wanted to add to Stonehenge design.
Perfection.
Like watching a cutscene straight out of the games. Great work!

Really.

You showed us something that AC producers didn't. It's amazing to see the moment which Ulysses hit Strangereal
There was glimpses in AC: Infinites start cutscene. Gave me the idea.
Some majour 20 years later: "work damn it!"

This is beyond epic! It made me feel like watching an old PS1 game's cutscene!
Thank you kind sir.
Astounding work Snowbird! Keep it up!
next one requested: stonehendge's railgun vs Arsenal Bird
"But I remember how hey built a cannon to destroy them"
"and in turn how that cannon brought war upon us"
"War was an abstract idea, nothing more than a show on TV."

I literally love the Stonehenge Railguns in Ace Combat games and I wish these Railguns were made by our military in real life.
I would like to at least see one gun as a tourist attraction.
@ well that would be awesome, and what do you love the most about the Railguns?
Ace Combat memories.
God I need more of these fan animations in my life! The Strangereal world is so interesting.
Thank you - if you subscribe - there is more coming :) Check out the others in the mean time.

Woah you got Three Dog to give a briefing in Strangereal.
Three Dog?
@@FictionalHorizon Fallout 3 character, the one giving the brief sounds a lot like Three Dog to me.
The voice actor is in the description :)
Is that Patrick Warburton?
