Your observation is correct in that sense, BJP and Modi knowingly creating space for new leadership. We must remember BJP is not dynasty based party. This is churning for now leadership to emerge.
Mr SG, You can’t hide your glee at the diminishing profile of Modi. I agree with you that this time around, BJP will most likely lose Haryana. A weak coalition government gives many to act as influence peddlers, a la Nira Radia. A strong government doesn’t provide this opportunity. That’s it.
Diminishing profile?? Tell me one state congress in able to hold more than 5 year all of their current incumbent govt especially karnataka and Himachal is facing public anger, will be thrown out of power in next election cycle
The way the Caste issue is playing out in these elections since the recent Lok Sabha elections is a really worrisome trend. At this rate I can only see not just the decline of the BJP but also the decline of our country. God help us. All the progress we have made over the past decade (and the period from 1991 to 2005) is going to come to naught, thanks to the caste and religion politics of the Congress and other opposition parties.😢
What started on 24th July 1991 ended on 08th November 2016. Nothing can be done about it. What's gone is gone.

Very informative and detailed analysis on Haryana by Shekhar. It is also nice to watch his visits to various dargahs in Panipat, as he relives his school days there. Viewers will sure share his sadness for no one remembering Ibrahim Lodhi. BTW, probably, there is no ancient or historical temple in Panipat which he could have visited.
BJP is focusing tremendously on Maharashtra with the help of ECI.
If they lose Maharashtra after all this, then all these Modi Modi frenzy will end.
It is equal fight in maharashtra, pre poll scheme give good about arsenal to ruling coalition all will depend on seat sharing, as per report mahayuti will be able to announce seat sharing as early as Diwali

Modi is not diminishing, he himself become benchmark for BJP and other politicians. He has to do a lot of things. Unfortunately media is unable to point out this historic change in Indian and international politics.
BJP needs to nurture a new poster boy whilst Modi still has some fire left. Someone young who can woo the heartland like he did. (Sorry, no Annamalai or anyone from the south, that someone obviously needs to be from the heartland).

Shekhar, didn’t know you were from panipat 😊 BJP acted smart and left its core vote base so t”core do not quite care for bjp as its become another congress. However we do want Modi and shah to shed their arrogance and listen to RSS, which has suggested few candidates option to replace Nadda. BJP doesn’t listen and has been digging its own grave with no repercussion for shah and Nadda. Results are for everyone to see. If they do not listen to RSS, they will lose more states. Rohita is a great candidate but when you’re high on arrogance of course they’ll not see on ground reports.

Political ideology of Haryana is as bad as rural UP or Bihar.
It is just a little richer and more developed because of its proximity to Delhi and smaller size.

Haryana people don't want any kind of stability in the government. This is why the infrastructure projects are stuck there, and losing out FDI to Maharashtra and Gujarat
