U just made a legitimately leg press/hack squat machine out of a total gym, awesome !! Saw something similar on one of Skyler's video's way back with a tow strap. Awesome video !!!
Every video of yours I learn something new. I didn’t know squat harnesses existed. That’s huge. I usually hold onto the weight bar if I go heavy enough but at a certain point I would run out of room when adding weight. This would solve that problem. Thanks for the tip!
This has been my favorite band placement. It’s nice to be able to switch bands quickly when I use it as a reformer. I’ve been keeping them looped on the bottom base and feed it through the top part of the weight bar hole on the xls. Then the weight bar doubles as the Pilates handle holder for single arm stuff lol. The tricep dip pads fit on the weight bar nicely
I usually run the band around the squat stand and hook each end on the weight bar. I only use lighter bands for this set up. Great video! I’m waiting for my squat harness to arrive.
Love this! I would like to ask for your opinion as well. I see that you have different versions of the Total gym. I currently have the Apex 3. I'm 4'11 and weigh 112 lbs. Do you think i should upgrade at some point?
Did the belt squats also work to anchor you in for this or only the harness? Could the vector belt squat reach your plate and the bar? You didn't show it but could the squat harness just reach the bar if I was using bands and no plates? Off topic I think it's possible to do reverse hypers on total gym using feet cuffs and anchoring yourself in am working on it
The harness feels much better than the belt for this, but you could probably attach it. Yes, the harness does fit the bar, you will will have to get low to start. I don't know about the reverse hypers, I'll have to look into that one. .

great video on new band location, harness benefits,that that hack squat with added weight and harness is great for building quads,glutes,calves.i made 2 pipe bars for my t.g.also.true mike leaning slightly hit chest perfect,sitting straight up hit front delts,that harness lock u in better i think,thank u mike🫡

I’ve been using the bar and it has made arms and chest so much easier! I feel like I can make sure both arms are working evenly vs just the straps.

I don’t think it’s a huge rush to. I anticipate they’ll be a new TG coming out soon
