My niece sells MK and I absolutely love it! To me, their products work as well as some of the higher priced brands. And they are more reasonably priced.
Love this. So many RUclipsrs won’t touch brands like MK. But it’s out there so it’s so helpful to see it reviewed and demo. Thank you for being unique in the beauty space!
You're welcome! I agree, it's not touched much and I think I know why. Unless you are a consultant, there's no way of putting in affiliate links. I think, if you say you are a beauty RUclipsr you need to be willing to review it all - affiliate or not. (Note: this is totally my assumption, and I could be completely off base with this assumption.)
As a pro MUA, I really fell in love w their complexion brushes. I find the cc cream is so easy for my clients to use. However I prefer to use a stipple motion to press it into the skin. And I also just signed up to offer it to my clients. So far everybody is very happy!
I’m a faithful MK user and have been since 2001. My favorites are the Matte 3D Foundation, with TimeWise facial cleanser Moisturizer with SPF and my all time favorite lipstick Downtown Brown. I’m not crazy about their eye primer. I do want to try their Retinol and the Facial Milk. I’ve been with the same MK consultant since 2004, which BTW, we’re very good friends. Good and honest review and video. ✨🌸
Watching a year later: i love mary kay, and i am a consulant ❤️ i first found mary kay at 19 and started selling in 2019. I actually left the company in 2020 and missed it so much i came back this year. Thank you for doing this review! Its so hard to find honest reviews for mary kay. My favorite- cant live without products are the Nourishing oil, liquid eyeshadow in pink starlight and the timewise foundation. ❤️
So glad you did this!! I JUST did the $30/year as a consultant to get their face products. I don't do parties or bookings. Just for me!! Haven't got my order yet so I am excited to see if I like it too. Nobody EVER does videos like this!! THANK YOU!!
Just found your channel & love it. I am almost 69 but look younger, so I'm told. Nothing to do with products, just stayed out of the sun & inherited good genes. I've tried MK several times over the years & never fell in love. The eyeshadows streak on me, even with primer. I have never found a lipstick that flattered me, no matter how it looks in the tube it always turns the same funky shade of pink on me. The foundations & creams I've tried usually cause a breakout. ONCE, back in the '90s, I finally found a consultant who believed me when I said I have oily skin - even though I "should" have had dry skin at my age (honestly most MK consultants I've "consulted" insisted on piling on the emollients). She started me on a skincare program I was pretty happy with, but those products are long gone & with the Timewise line it's back to breaking out. Awhile back MK had a fantastic line of nail polishes but - discontinued. I honestly wish I loved the products because so many people swear by them, but as of now the only thing I still use occasionally is the eye makeup remover. Dealing with a consultant has been hit or miss for me, most of them are very nice but the aggressive ones that pursue and pressure are a turn-off. Thanks for the review, I'm looking forward to checking out more of your content. 🥰
Thank you for reviewing Mary Kay! I used it years ago and even sold it. I love the concept of creating your own shadow palettes. Their eye makeup remover is the best!
I do LOVE it! It’s why I became a consultant 😉. Wanted my products 1/2 off. There are so many products that I love, I couldn’t even begin to type them all in.
As a customer and a makeup lover, I do love their eyeshadows, blush, lipstick, lipgloss and lip liners. Haven’t tried their foundation but love that you can put everything in one compact and go. The ultimate travel makeup!!
I love the Timewise skin care products. It helps me actually stay consistent with a twice daily skin care routine. Consultant helped by teaching the steps to follow & that was key for me. As I ran out of other make up products I started using the MK foundation, mascara, etc….they work for me.
I'm so happy to see that you reviewed Mary Kay. I feel they have done a great job with keeping up with the times. I have used MK on and off since the 90s. I have been using MK again for about a year. My skin is combination. I mix the Luminous with the Matte and get a real nice satin finish. I feel pretty much the same about their mascara. I don't mind that it's not waterproof, so I use a volumizing formula, but I can find something just as good or better from L'Oreal. I love their under eye corrector. It's pretty much the same formula as the concealer, but with a peachy undertone.
Consultant here! Thank you for this review. Hello to my sister consultant, Shelby. Fav Skin Care: Timewise Repair, Microderabrasion, Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, Micellar Water Fav Glam: New Warm Hue Eye Shadow Palette, CC Cream, Lip Gloss, Lip Liner, Utimate Mascara, all the red lip colors.
I used to be a consultant that never sold (I bought products for myself). I still LOVE the primer! I still use concealer, cheek color and some eye shadows. (I do use other brands of these products as well). Thanks for the review!
When I was a teen my aunt used to buy us nieces Merle Norman and Mary Kay make-up. My mom didn't wear makeup so I learned a lot from my aunt. She also bought me a stick foundation, it was Max factor pan stick. Anyone remember that stick foundation.
@@melissanelson1975 yeah it was a really great foundation stick. I also loved a Max Factor lipstick call opulent wine. It's was my teenage vampy lip go to!! Lol
I used Mary Kay from an early teenager through my 30s. I’m not sure why I stopped. I always thought it was a great product. Maybe I’ll try it again and see.🤷♀️😊 Thank you for sharing.
I was one of those who stopped using it and switched to the high dollar stuff. I have no idea why I did it. The skin care and cosmetics aren't even close to those I used in the 90s - sooo much improved and such a great choice! Try it, I bet you'll fall in love all over again!
I am a consultant since 1999. I sell to a couple of friends, that way I can get the wholesale price, but I plan it out to order once or twice a year. There is questions whether MK is MLM, but I don’t get into all the selling gimmick and meetings. As I’ve learned and MK training tells us that it is best for your skin to us one makeup line. Mixing different products is the beginning of problems. I have definitely had that experience. I use the Volu-firm line for mature skin. I began with the basic products and moved through the products. I use most of the products you used. BTW, you can use the regular full coverage or medium foundation, if do not want the “glow”. There’s many products I don’t use, because they aren’t for me…needs, color, style, whatever. At 76, I’m down to a “basic” amount of makeup use. The biggest feature in makeup use is the SKIN-CARE products. The cleansers, removers, the night creams/day creams. Those are the products to focus on to have an even-tone and subtle, smooth skin, the “palette” to apply the makeup on. That was what I always focused on in early years I did home bookings to show the products. The cream-to-powder is for dry skin. The CC creams replaced the tinted moisturizers. My daughter SWEARS BY the CC and Mineral Powder Foundation. As with any makeup you can layer on as much as desire for the look you want. Your FACE looked nice. The “glow” looked good on you. There are samples also that you can try before purchase a product. They are usually free. Thanks for video.
Thanks for this Carolyn!! I'm 75 and yes, I'm a consultant. (Mary Kay isn't an MLM, we own our own businesses, every consultant receives the same discount and Sales Directors and National Sales Directors are paid to do their jobs by the company. Yes, when we grow a team we are also paid a small commision by the company. (MLM companies provide commissions based on "downlines".)
I am 66 yrsold. I started wearing in the state of Wyo . It was when I was going thru cosmetology school at the age of 19. I still wear it. I love all products. They have different types of makeup. Powder or cream foundations. I love their foundation primer too. The eye shadow prime is fantastic. Shall I go on. Love MKC. primer
I really liked the total look! Very natural and pretty. A subtle, soft every day look! I loved how you looked! Also, I liked the less dark, less harsh brow color! I have to say, I have so few brow hairs, a spoolie is irrelevant! Lucky you to need one!
Nice of you to give a shout out to MK. My previous hairdresser sold Mary Kay. I tried their skin care, some makeup. Actually really, really liked the makeup remover. My co worker was able to get it for me and have bought it repeatedly. Your right if it was sold in a store I think it would do well.
It might, but you would miss out on the relationship with someone who gets to know your skin, your coloring, your preferences and your needs. In a store, that person is employed by the store so it's their job. A Mary Kay consultant owns her own business and understands the importance of giving customers great customer service and some perks too!!
You look beautiful! I love MK Timewise skin care....cleanser, moisturizer w/sunscreen.....they had my skin looking years younger in a short time. It's a splurge but works so definitely worth it!
I just signed up as a consultant about a month ago and I bought like $350 worth of stuff! I have to say this product is pretty freaking good! My skin is not sensitive to anything, everything feels amazing on my skin, the make up is good quality, I just love it. I love it all!
Hi Bobbie. This video brought back some memories of when my two daughters first started wearing makeup. It was Mary Kay: Mineral Powder Foundation ivory 1. I had 2 favourite blushes- Sparkling Cider and Strawberry Cream. I used their Timewise face cleanser up until they changed from a cream to a gel. I did like their lipsticks: Pink Shimmer, Sweet Nectar, Mocha Freeze and Apple Berry. We also went through many tubes of the Suncare after-sun replenishing gel after spending the day at the beach. And the peach hand lotion was a favourite too. Mind you this was all back in the 2010s, I haven’t bought any in many years. I really liked your finale lip and am with you on the blush at our stage of life. Thank you for this video.
You should also try the Eye Makeup Remover and Finishing Spray. The finishing spray is also great as a primer and can be used throughout your makeup application process. Yes, I do sell MK products.
First, I love your videos and that you don't edit out bloopers. I laugh with you :). Regarding MK, I became a consultant years ago to take advantage of the discount but didn't continue. However, I'm still loyal to my consultant and there are a few products that I keep reordering after trying out other brands. I need a tinted eye primer to counteract the redness so the MK doesn't work for me; however, the under eye corrector is the best and I've tried drug store and expensive ones. Same with lip primer, best ever, prevents feathering. Eye makeup remover better than all the balms and others I've tried, at least for me. Love their makeup finishing spray, works great and all these I find reasonably priced, certainly less than high end, more than the lower priced drug store. I love the Time Wise Repair skin care line but it is too expensive even though for my 70+ year skin using the entire line made a difference. Now I just use the cleanser, which is $30 but a tiny bit goes a long way, and for now I use CeraVe for moisturizers. This morning I used the Lash Love Panorama Mascara and I agree it's not super lengthening or thickening but it does not clump. This is my personal experience and by the way although I don't consider my skin overly dry, the luminous foundation could be more so for me. Sorry this is so long but hope it helps. Thanks
This video makes me like you ever more! Love you are open-minded. I used to sell Mary Kay just enough to get a discount. But only mainly used the skin care. It was good. I liked and still have , my own made up pallette for traveling.
I used to sell Mary Kay many years ago and loved it all. I think I quit because I had to order. Their skincare was really good when I used it before. I’ve been thinking about trying some of it again.
i was a MK consultant back in the 80s, even went to Dallas once for their yearly celebration and got to meet Mary Kay. i lost interest after about 8 years but have some great memories of meeting some lovely people ❤
I sell it BECAUSE I fell in love with it!! The foundation primer is the BEST! I like to use the silky setting powder to set real good for the day over the foundation. I use the undereye perfecting concealer vs regular concealer for darker circles under my eyes.
There is the time wise 3D matte formula that does not have the luminosity and it is wonderful also! It covers wonderful!! Most all companies today have the magnetic compacts you have to purchase and fill with your own shadow/ blush colors. This saves you money because in a compact that already has several colors most people only use 2 -3 colors and waste the rest. They always have their favorites so this way you pick just the colors you are definitely going to use.
Thank you for doing Mary Kay! You are the first I've seen to do it. My sister sales MK. No I don't like all the products, like the foundation but most I do like. I've always used the matte blushes and never had a problem. The lipsticks are good and glosses.
I appreciate your honesty. I have a friend who is a Mary Kay consultant so I've tried quite a few products. Honestly some things are good. Some things not so good and a few are kind of average. Similar to most other brands. Always good and bad within all of them. My favorite is their liquid foundation.
I was a consultant who only sold to family, friends, and mostly myself. That was mid 2000s. I loved the eyeshadows and lipsticks, along with the customized palettes. Their Timewise skincare was good and the Satin Hands cream is amazing! I stopped using it because it was easier and cheaper for me to shop at Ulta, drugstores, etc. Btw, I loved Creative Memories back when I was scrapbooking! I liked that you reviewed a brand that’s rarely seen on RUclips.
I do not sell Mary Kay right now, but I am a personal use consultant. Normally, your first appointment would be with a consultant, and she would have been able to answer all of the questions that you had while using the products. For example, there is a matte formula to the foundation if you didn’t like luminous foundation. Also, the brow spooley is part of the brow brush dual tipped brush. The pallets can hold just a few eyeshadows or all of your products, depending on what you like and you simply switch out the product when you empty the pan. By the way, the foundation primer is the best I have ever used. Thanks for the honest review.
I loved your review! You were honest and true to how you’d use your makeup. I am a consultant, but started because the cc cream was so good and felt lighter on my face than anything I’d ever tried. Plus having another income sounded nice too lol. Thanks for sharing your opinion of MK !
With all due respect, I watched your video last evening and appreciated much of it and with that said I did notice several ways you might have had an even better experience. In my opinion, one of the most important things about our customer/consultant relationship is the training we have and the knowledge about our products. It was indeed, I think, an handicap for you to work long distance in choosing correct products and colors. For instance, you used a brunette eyebrow pencil which certainly seemed to be the right shade, but I'm not sure why you would choose a blonde brow tint with expectations is was the correct shade. You indicated you always use a primer, but for some reason chose not to use one with your foundation when making a review and that seems a shame since you obviously know the benefits of using a primer. You chose the waterproof mascara and there are several other mascaras that would probably have suited your preferences much better. It also seemed curious to me that you "layered" your foundation and then used a pressed powder over it. Quite frankly there are other products that do a wonderful job of setting your foundation without adding another layer of product on your skin. I understand you were simply reviewing the product. Mary Kay products are not expensive when you consider that you can create your own color pallette rather than accepting a prechosen pallette but using only one or two colors. I appreciate the time you took to do the review and I hope you can appreciate the value of working with a consultant who can help you make choices in colors and products with you before you ever make a purchase. (I know how difficult it is to work with a relative and to let her make suggestions, but regardless, "trust" might be the operative word. The other part of the equation is the difficulty of choosing colors from print or the computer or phone. Outlets such as Walmart, Target or drug stores simply let you go it alone and play a guessing game choosing the right products, and since I have used Estee Lauder, Lancomme and Cliniq products I know there are representatives from those companies who help consumers make choices - and their products are easily twice the cost of Mary Kay products. Yes, I am a consultant and my comments are made from my perspective, not only as a consultant but that of one who has used a lot of products before using Mary Kay exclusively. PS..since a year ago Mary Kay has changed formulations on several products you tried and you might be even happier with the products now than you were then! And - my motto is skin care is the first and most important step in our cosmetics regime! Thanks again for your review!
Back in the ‘80’s, they made my favorite blush and lip color. At the turn of the century/millennium, they had some gorgeous dry/wet eyeshadows. I haven’t bought anything from the company since they entered the Chinese market.
When using any brow pencil it is best, with your spooly brush your brows in the opposite direction that they grow. Covers so much better. Yes I am a Mary Kay Skin Care Consultant.
. I LOVE so many of their makeup items, I’d be pressed to pick just one! I used Mary Kay foundation exclusively until about a month ago, when I added a FENTY foundation, and I use both of them now. I order regularly!
Thanks for trying Mary Kay. Mary Kay and Merle Norman products have been around for years. I like some Mary Kay products… it’s a try and see what works . Love from Mississippi 💙
I’m a consultant, but used the products for two years before I became a consultant. I love the skincare and beauty products. I’m 65 years old and they work well on my old skin. Your consultant should have told you that there is a double ended brush, one end is the spookier, and the other end is a brush to use if you want to use eyeshadow for an eyeliner, or to smooth out the eyebrow pencil. And is the luminance foundation is to shiny, we have a finishing /setting powder that is great. I would suggest getting a monthly book or going to your consultant’s website and looking at all the products.
Just watched you on TV for the first time. I thoughly enjoyed it!. My own personal opinion is that I thought you looked FABULOUS! Everything you used created such a smooth, expensive look. Very pretty and I don't sell Mary Kay. I just may try to find a Consultant nearby. Thanks for sharing this video. I will check out some other videos and subscribe! ❤
Mary Kay also has several different options and formulas of most product so it’s very easy to customize the products to your needs. The semi matte lipstick in my opinion is the best and their glosses are great, the matte foundation is great and more full coverage, the best mascara in my opinion is the ultimate mascara, but many people I know love the lash intensify mascara. And Mary Kay does sell the spool separately unfortunately lol. The skin care, especially the TimeWise Repair line really does work and keeps you young. Most of the women who sell and use Mary Kay look great and age gracefully usually. Plus they’re the only company that offers 50% commission that I know of. I used to sell it but not anymore just because my life has changed. I still use all the products though and constantly get compliments on my skin and makeup. People are genuinely shocked when I tell them I use Mary Kay. Great and honest video.
Thank you so for this review 💓 I've always loved Mary Kay 💄 & like many other beautiful Mothers, my Mom also sold Mary Kay which is when my makeup wearing days began 🥰 my favorite MK product has to be the Eyeliner in "Slate"
I sold the products in the 80' s,and i loved,! My director was so wise in her teachings that i learn so much. Btw for your eye brow pencil , Mary kay would provide a small brush for the eyebrows. Remember, words of wisdom , when applying the product to your face, no matter what it is always move in an upwrd sweeping motion.Under eyes should always be applied with your ring finger , less tug on the skin.
What a timely video. My SIL is hosting a virtual show. Thanks for all the tips. I too sold Creative Memories for many years. Was so sad when they quit. Lost so many digital books.
I can’t say whether or not I like Mary Kay makeup because I wear very little makeup. However, I love their skin care. I use the Time Wise skin care ( cleanser and moisturizer). Based upon your review, I want to try lippy and the mascara. As I said, I don’t wear a lot of makeup and I think the very thing that you didn’t like about it would make it the perfect mascara for me! I watched one of your videos quite some time ago where you mentioned that you were self conscious about the arthritis in your hands and didn’t want to call attention to them. Let me just say that your hands are lovely in this video, and I would like to know what nail polish you’re wearing? By the way, Mary Kay fragrance free Satin Hands is the best hand cream ever. Ditto for the Satin Body lotion! PS, I am 76, and my hands are definitely arthritic! I still love pretty nail polish, though. God Bless!
I used to sell MK. There are many products I love. I always got the matte and luminous foundation and mixed them together and it was perfect for me. Their moisturizer is great and the eye makeup remover is the best I’ve ever tried. I also love the Ultimate mascara and it comes in brown/black.😍My friend still sells it so I pick up stuff a couple times a year. MK is an American company and I like to support that when I can. I’ve never been a big fan of their brushes to be honest.
I have worn MaryKay for 50 yrs. I love the cream to powder compact formula. I get it off of Amazon. I know they don’t sell it anymore but I have never found a makeup that makes my skin look so smooth.
Nice video. You were very honest. I’ve used Mary Kay since 1973. Wouldn’t use anything else. A personal makeover with a consultant could have made a big difference for you.
I always have loved Mary Kay, wish you could get it at Ulta. I am also a “princess” ha and love beauty products - I am always looking for something magical. In all my drawers full of the latest… I always go back to eyeshadow quad mocha latte - Avon, yes I said it. I travel a lot and it’s perfect.
I used MK's foundation that came in a flat compact that you applied with water. It was the 80s. I loved it! I stopped using MK when they discontinued that foundation. I would use it again if they brought it back! Edit: the eye shadow was applied with water. Too.
Iam here asi heard that MK products are amazing my friend said make up and eye make up remover so good she cant find replacment. Cant wait to try some too
I love love love Mary Kay and sell! 😂 I would suggest the CC cream instead of foundation it's a great product. I can't live without My MK skincare. There's a reason they have been around since the 60s they make great stuff. Also they have donated 96 million for domestic violence and cancer research. They stand for God first, Family second and business third. And they are earth friendly. That's why You buy a compact and refill ❤ I literally can't say enough about them. I love it ❤️
I love MK products. I use the Timewise moisturizer, makeup remover and cleanser. I love it. I don't buy the makeup, however, the skin care is soooooo good. And no I don't sell it.
This was so fun because I just ordered some Mary Kay and got it last week and haven’t used them in years. I LOVE their eyeshadow formula. So smooth and thin and you don’t need much. I got 2 blushes, I love them both and exchanged my lipstick but I’m so happy with the new one. I really do like their makeup. I didn’t get any base products because I already have my favorites but wanted to play with their color cosmetics and I was sure not disappointed.
Overall, I like your color combo here. The foundation is a very good match for your skin tone, & the blush & eye shadows work well together for a warm look. It's probably too late to say, but I would recommend you stick with the blond eyebrow! I know you're used to a darker brow color, but the blond frames your eyes nicely without overpowering. Just my 2 cents! BTW, I am a MK lady, too! 😊 I always watch your videos with interest!
I love mk! I’ve used it for years. Everything in the stores just sucks for me but mk always works well. I love the cc cream, lipsticks, eyeliners and the skin care too. I don’t sell it but recommend it to a lot of people. It’s awesome.
Been using Mary Kay for 40 years ..I'm 65 years old.. people I think I'm 45 🤣 The product has changed throughout the years for the better! I have very schizophrenic skin.. acne dry combination. You name it so I use ALL OF IT! I've learned how to play with it. Love the retinol system! The biggest mistake they ever made was getting rid of their extra emollient cleansing cream!!!!!!!! THAT WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD! Their eye makeup remover is okay.. I like the new my cellular cleansing.. . I do sell it but it's only because I want the discount and my family uses it!! 🤣!! their eyeliner ultimate mascara eyebrow pencil lip liner you name it LOVE IT! (I'm sure I just boosted your nephew's wife's sales 🤣🥰! But that's not wine saying this. I just love Mary Kay! Not in it for the money.. but it sure doesn't hurt!
Thanks for the review. Yes it’s a great brand. Full disclosure I used to be a consultant. Currently thinking of returning to it now that I am an empty nester with more time on my hands 😆
I love this! Back in the 80s and 90s, I used everything Mary Kay. I still have an eyeshadow that I absolutely love. I got it a few years ago but I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. I love it so much that I only wear it on special occasions so it won't run out. LOL
That foundation is the best! Im in my 50s and it looks better on me than any brand - drug store or high end - than I have tried. And, I do not sell it! Does not set into lines on my face.
Just curious, did you do the completion match, where you send her a picture and then go from there? Love their eye makeup remover and their all natural skin cleanser. Can use on entire face, even eyes, without burning! Cleanser removes all makeup without stripping skin and leaving it tight and dry. It is sometimes hard to select colors from web site or catalog, but as you said you can always return products that don't work for you. And finally, they have the same foundation with a mat finish. With my cons
I used to sell Mary Kay many many years ago also, mostly for personal use and the discount. I used the product for many years afterwards, however a few years ago I switched and started using Monat after using their hair care and because it’s all natural, I love Monat but it’s a bit pricey. So I guess my main question would be how “healthy” is Mary Kay?
From what I’ve been told, Mary Kay has recently in the last five years switched to the European standard of ingredients, meaning that they have removed lots of toxins from their products. Everything with Mary Kay is highly pigmented and has literally lasted me 12-16 hours without any touch ups. I recommend it.
I used Mary Kay during 1984-2021. (I stared when I was 18 until 57.) I'm now totally over the counter. I love the products over the years and yes, I think my skin looks so much better with it. However, due to prices I feel that I can get just as good if not better with the over the counter products in the stores.
My problem with cheek products that have a sheen is that as I’ve gotten older those products make my skin look leathery. I love the pretty sheen on other people, but sadly they don’t flatter me. Its interesting that you featured this brand I know nothing about.
I don’t sell it a girl that used to work with me sells Mary Kay. I love the BB cream I wear the medium it’s beautiful on me and the concealer along with the correct her. Good stuff. I do wear that Rosewoods lipstick shade. I ended up returning the one you kept in the nude it was too blah looking on me. Not a fan of their mascara there I pencils are OK but I think their eye pencils are ok but a bit tiny. Love their eyeshadows! I have several. The rest of my face as far as a lipstick, gloss, eyebrow and liner pencils, bronzer, mascara and powder, I use and swear by MAC. Used the makeup for over 20+ years, I’m true blue.
I love watching you! You're so fun!! Makeup looks great! Your hair is beautiful!! I bet you have new hair growth that's not long enough yet to do anything with!!
Exactly. Younique has my favorite mascara. Unless someone sells Younique, they don’t dare mention it. I thank Bobbie for sharing Mary Kay . 😊
As a pro MUA, I really fell in love w their complexion brushes. I find the cc cream is so easy for my clients to use. However I prefer to use a stipple motion to press it into the skin. And I also just signed up to offer it to my clients. So far everybody is very happy!
Love my MK , yes I'm a Consultant but I used it for ever as a customer. There is nothing wrong with the Company or Products. 😊❤
THANK YOU!!
Welcome to Mary Kay!
Can you do that I want to do that too to save money I don’t want to recruit or do bookings?
@@jisel1029 if your still interested I can help you
@@jonesgrah I’ll gladly pay $30/year to get a discount on skin care products! How do I contact you? GBJ
It is even better now - if you can believe it! For years it was the one product that has been #1 on my list of favorites!!
Fav Skin Care: Timewise Repair, Microderabrasion, Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, Micellar Water
Fav Glam: New Warm Hue Eye Shadow Palette, CC Cream, Lip Gloss, Lip Liner, Utimate Mascara, all the red lip colors.
I used to be a consultant that never sold (I bought products for myself). I still LOVE the primer! I still use concealer, cheek color and some eye shadows. (I do use other brands of these products as well). Thanks for the review!
I was the same kind of consultant. Of course I almost went broke buying from myself!
Great video and you look beautiful. I’ve been using MK since 1987 (I was a senior in high school). Love their products.
When I was a teen my aunt used to buy us nieces Merle Norman and Mary Kay make-up. My mom didn't wear makeup so I learned a lot from my aunt. She also bought me a stick foundation, it was Max factor pan stick. Anyone remember that stick foundation.
Yes I loved that pan stick and I wish you could buy it again. I remember you could buy it at the dollar general for 5 dollars 😂
@@melissanelson1975 yeah it was a really great foundation stick. I also loved a Max Factor lipstick call opulent wine. It's was my teenage vampy lip go to!! Lol
Yes there’s nothing like it. You could sheer it out or go to complete coverage!
Oooh, do you know Shelbi (haha, just kidding)! I've seen many comment about the makeup remover - I may have to get that soon. Thanks Karen!
YOUR LAUGH IS CONTAGIOUS LOVE WATCHING YOU SO ENJOYABLE, YOUR MAKE UP LOOKED GREAT
First, I love your videos and that you don't edit out bloopers.
MK looks nice on you. I have been wearing MK for over 30 years. I recently became a consultant. My favorite MK item is their concealer.
I should have used the matte blush. I absolutely love the lipstick I kept!
@@MindfulMidlife You should consider the glosses. They are lovely! Fancy Nancy is my favorite!!
Love Mary Kay! Used it off and on 30 years and then became a consultant. So happy I did.
The blond brow tint was chosen because it looked darker on the website. It would appear the image isn’t accurate.
The foundation looks great on you! Those colors too!
You look great in the MK face. I might need to reconsider, but not the luminous foundation.
I enjoy watching you put on marykay products
Creative Memories is going strong again, but I'm not sure about the digital products. I don't scrapbook anymore.
Love my MaryKay! I am a consultant. I have several faves- definitely the eye makeup remover and lash intensity mascara and the skincare!
God Bless!
Awww, thanks Sharon! Its Essie, Rocky Rose.
Love their eyeshadow, lip glosses and lipsticks!! I used to sell MK.
I know they don’t sell it anymore but I have never found a makeup that makes my skin look so smooth.
they still sell cream to powder foundation and its only $18. bucks.
My first makeup was using my moms Mary Kay. You had to wet the brush to use the eyeshadows. Mary Kay brings back so many good memories.
Yes, I remember that when my mom sold it. I remember the pink little trays with the mirrors you put in. Good memories!
I especially like the CC cream and the concealer. Those are my favorites!
I’m a consultant and, regarding the primer, it’s formulated to work with the CC Cream and the foundations.
I used MK's foundation that came in a flat compact that you applied with water. It was the 80s. I loved it! I stopped using MK when they discontinued that foundation. I would use it again if they brought it back!
Edit: the eye shadow was applied with water. Too.
Wow, I don't remember that. I'd hate to have to add water, but if it worked, it was probably worth it.
I’ve been looking at their eye shadows so I could create my own palette so this video was very helpful!
Iam here asi heard that MK products are amazing my friend said make up and eye make up remover so good she cant find replacment. Cant wait to try some too
I love Mary Kay products! Thanks for the consultant recommendation. 💕
I use the translucent powder to tone down the shine
Would love to see you do this with other brands - Arbonne, It Cosmetics, Shine Cosmetics, etc…
Thanks for reviewing this brand. I thought that the contour looked great on you.
I appreciate you so very much for being here !
You are so welcome Lena! Thank YOU for watching! 😊
Thanks for the information. You look great
Overall, I like your color combo here. 😊
I always watch your videos with interest!
You need to try the translucent loose powder! I use it every day and love it! The CC creams are amazing!
I love mk! I’ve used it for years. Everything in the stores just sucks for me but mk always works well. I love the cc cream, lipsticks, eyeliners and the skin care too. I don’t sell it but recommend it to a lot of people. It’s awesome.
The glow is amazing
Love Mary Kay!! My favorite is the Time Wise Day Cream
We have the eyebrow brush with the spoolie on one end and a brush end for liner
I fell in love with the products and new I'm a director. Nourishing oil is my favorite
Well done! I know how much work it is in a MLM! It's much easier when you love the products!
can you use the oil around the eyes?
Your face looks beautiful and natural. It was fun to watch you.
I love this! Back in the 80s and 90s, I used everything Mary Kay. I still have an eyeshadow that I absolutely love. I got it a few years ago but I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. I love it so much that I only wear it on special occasions so it won't run out. LOL
im super curious what the shade name is.
@@imsellingtoday Vintage Gold
@@Karlucci7 i might be able to get you a few more if you like.
That foundation is the best! Im in my 50s and it looks better on me than any brand - drug store or high end - than I have tried. And, I do not sell it! Does not set into lines on my face.
Love MK, used to sell it but couldn't keep up with so frequent inventories.
Just curious, did you do the completion match, where you send her a picture and then go from there?
Love their eye makeup remover and their all natural skin cleanser. Can use on entire face, even eyes, without
burning! Cleanser removes all makeup without stripping skin and leaving it tight and dry.
It is sometimes hard to select colors from web site or catalog, but as you said you can always return products that don't work for you.
And finally, they have the same foundation with a mat finish.
With my cons
With my consultant I just call or send her a text and she drops it off in a few days.
Was a Mary Kay customer for years, prior to becoming a consultant ❤
I love watching your videos you are so much fun
I LOVE the MK eye makeup remover
Beautiful skin and fabulous nails. 🤩💛
I have alopecia, no brows. I didn’t know what a “spoolie” was 🤣 Thanks for the MK review. I’m just starting as a customer.
I dont love it because I sell it. I sell it because I love i!
I used Mary Kay during 1984-2021. (I stared when I was 18 until 57.) I'm now totally over the counter. I love the products over the years and yes, I think my skin looks so much better with it. However, due to prices I feel that I can get just as good if not better with the over the counter products in the stores.
Yes. Drugstore foundation is sometimes better than name brand
I never thought about that Sharon, but I bet you are right. I have been using the iRestore for quite a while. Thanks for pointing that out!
