Thank you for the video, so far only tried CF for a couple of weeks, pirchased a few one-time licenses as it feels more reliable :) . Altough if one is designing a lot even just learning and using occasionally for commercial use, subscription on CF indeed is more reasonable.

This was a great video! Thank you! I’ve been seriously considering getting CF. I am currently subscribed to Cricut Design Space. Would CF replace my design space if I cancelled it?

I have never used Cricut Design Space so i have no idea what it does. CF is just a website that you download files from. The DO have lots of cut files though so i don't see why they won't work with your machine. Its well worth having a look at what they have. If you have questions, the Team at CF are really good at helping. Its got some amazing designs. You can also purchase things individually to. Perhaps find something awesome and download one to see? Good luck and happy creating

Hi! So I know the full POD subscription on creative fabrica we can just upload the design without making changes to it. Now does Etsy allow that since we do have the license? Or do we still need to be “designing it ourselves”. Thanks!!

Hi love, this is a question you need to ask the team at CF itself rather than myself. I am not able to give legal advice about license terms. Etsy is different as its not a "pod" site and it depends exactly how you are selling the design on etsy. You can't sell the digital design as is, but i believe, to my knowledge, if you use elements you purchase off CF to integrate into a new design you can sell that digital design on etsy? Again it depends on how you are selling on Etsy. Selling printed versions of something is different again. I would shoot an email to the team at CF. Include an photo of the design you have made and want to sell, and a clear description of how you made it and how you want to sell on Etsy. CF is amazing and i love the designers on there. Good luck with it! What are you creating?

Yes, you can use Creative Market assets for POD; From Creative Market's Help Center, "Graphics - Use in On-Demand Services": Can I use a licensed graphic to create pre-made End Products that I sell, using a print-on-demand service?
You may sell pre-designed End Products “on demand” (i.e. as your customer(s) order them) using a printer/production partner, as long as your customer doesn’t have control over the design in a way that allows them to move around/rotate design elements, add or edit text, or personally customize the design (limits apply based on the purchased license). For example, your customer may order a tee shirt you’ve designed as a pre-made End Product; next, your print-on-demand provider produces and delivers that End Product to your customer. Since the customer has no control over the end product result in this case, this usage would be permitted under our Commercial License (for up to 5,000 End Product Sales) and Extended Commercial License (for up to 250,000 End Product Sales). Keep in mind that, under the Commercial License, your item’s design must be significantly different than the original graphic; require time, effort, and skill to produce; and not derive its primary value from the graphic itself.

In their detailed commercial license explanation (which is what Sarah is referencing in the video), they say this: "5. PROHIBITED USES (these uses may be available with an extended commercial license or custom license, contact Creative Market to find out more):
      5.1 - End Products
✗ On-Demand Applications (Such as Print-on-Demand and Create-on-Demand Services). Any use that allows anyone other than the Licensee, such as an end user, to customize a digital or physical end product is prohibited, whether for Commercial use or Non-commercial use. This includes, but is not limited to, “print on demand”, “made to order”, or “download on demand” application."
      creativemarket.com/licenses/terms/general#commercial
My first post explains this second post, that the customer cannot change it. "Anyone that allows anyone other than the licensee" (licensee= you or I, the product creator) "such as end user" (end user= customer). This might mean no personalization of the product, they cannot add their name or something else to your design. I would consult Creative Market if you need this.

I think that first person was correct. It says you may not create an on-demand application. The key word here is the application. As if you are creating a print-on-demand application or website where a user can come in and use that to produce POD and products for their products, they cannot use it. But you absolutely can use it for physical products for commercial use. It literally says that.
