Wingman was made to be an evil jerk, and after he dies there’s no replacement for him, while Dark Ranger and Legionary did eventually. And out of all the Club Of Villains, King Kraken did the least and has been seen the least. I’d bring back King Kraken, but I’d also introduce a new, more heroic Wingman for Sweden, and flesh out their rivalry more. I suppose you could make him an occasional villain of Batman, like a case that brings Batman to Sweden, or one where Kraken goes to Gotham for a crime, and Wingman follows him and teams up with Batman. The only problem with this is that most of the members of the Batmen Of All Nations are generally really minor characters, which is that old question of how the villain will get a chance to shine when not even the hero gets to do that much. Still, that could be fixed. Knight & Squire got a miniseries, so why no a mini or ongoing series for the others. In my opinion, most of them have enough potential for then to good. An interesting new take on Forgotten Supervillains, what with you reading suggestions from the fans. I liked the approach, and am glad you were able to make this series work with your new format. Another interesting insight into another neglected rogue. How do keep making such quality videos, Mr. Rogues?
I'm also a big fan of Simon Hurt's Club of Villains. Recently, while *finally* giving Batwing's New52 solo title a shot, I was pleasantly surprised to see him encounter Charlie Caligula again... I also had a lot of fun when I learned that Swagman's design was inspired by real-life Australian bushranger *Ned Kelly* . His old armor is still on display at the State library of Victoria, if you veer stop by Melbourne. Also, I absolutely agree that King Kraken should have been used more. When it comes to aquatic Bat-rogues, my favorite is by far Tiger Shark. In recent years, he's been (much like Simon Hurt) more of a Nightwing villain than a Bat-rogue, but he's still awesome, and always bring some cool aquatic toys to the table.
@@randallflagg3700 Finally, another nerd who appreciates the Club Of Villains as much as I do. Yeah, it was awesome to see Caligula again, and that he was treated as such a big threat. Too bad nobody seems to know that story exists, since the Prime Earth Carlo Calzone (yeah, that’s Charlie’s real name, which is just perfect) doesn’t have his own page, nor does he show up on Caligula’s disambiguation page. I also think it’s cool that we got a new Legionary, and one with a lot of potential and a good backstory. Overall, a fun storyline. Yeah, that’s a pretty neat detail about Swagman (I just love that name, it’s so catchy). Interestingly, Dark Ranger also cited Ned Kelly as a source of inspiration for his newer spaceman-type armor, or at least he described it as “Ned-Kelly-styled armor.” Odd that both the Ranger and his nemesis had the same inspiration. I also liked Swagman’s personality, he had a sort of relaxed menace, singing a song while trapping Robin in that junkyard, and letting Pierrot Lunaire trap Robin before shooting him. Although it’s odd that Ned Kelly was a bomber, but Swagman just uses a revolver. Yeah, I know Kelly got involved in shootouts and such, but for a supervillain gimmick, I think him having a bomb theme could make him both more distinct and more menacing. He could have firebombs, EMP bombs, sonic bombs, and all sorts of bombs as weapons. Yeah, Tiger Shark is pretty cool. You know, I’d be interested in a team up between both King Sharks in Batman’s rogues gallery. In case you didn’t know, the original one was an aquatic criminal in a yellow diving suit that had tiger-like stripes. You want to see that team up, or is it just me? By the way, don’t the members of the Batmen Of All Nations have really good rogues galleries? Knight and Squire gave Springheeled Jack, Death Dinosaur, Old King Coal, British Joker, and the Metaleks. El Gaucho has El Sombrero, Scorpiana, El Papagayo II, and La Muerta En Vida. Musketeer has Pierrot Lunaire and Le Bossu. Wingman had King Kraken. Legionary has Charlie Caligula. Dark Ranger has Swagman. Man-Of-Bats and Raven Red have… I dunno, that guy Red Rippa or whatever his name is. Anyone else remember him? Yeah, okay, those two are pretty lacking in rogues, but so do a surprising amount of DC heroes. Bottom line: the Batmen Of All Nations have great rogues.
@@legoarkhamiteproductions4869 - Haha, dude I absolutely adore El Gaucho's rogues gallery! Scorpiana and El Sombrero in particular, curse the Jonker for breaking Sombrero's neck, sticking him in that wheelchair! Same for Knight and Squire, I loved it in Morrison's run when we met the rival crime families led by Old *King Coal* and his badass-looking chimney-sweeps henchmen, against, and the Pearly court led by *Pearly English* (and his son Pearly Prince). It was just awesome to see such ambitious world building from Grant Morrison, and I hoped we would return in England soon. So I was pretty stocked when about a decade ago, Paul Cornell & Jimmy Broxton made a 6 issues miniseries for Knight (Cyril) and Squire (Beryl)... When it comes to Man-O-Bats & Red Raven, I did read at least *one* good story with them, but their villain was pretty lame, some random alcoholic introduced kicking a dog... Well you were right, it's indeed "Red Rippa" ^^' aka Sam Black-Elk. He didn't have the panache of a King Kraken, but still got 10 times more chara development, not fair >_< Imma stop now before writing another novel, but it's indeed nice to see other fans of the Club of Villains! What's weird is that when they first showed up, I wasn't *that* crazy about them, as most seemed like Bat-rogues but from other parts of the world (Caligula being a Joker wannabe for instance). But now I really wish we got more of them...
@@randallflagg3700 Curse you, Jinker! What’d El Sombrero ever do to you? Did ya have to do that? Oh, yeah, the Pearlies. I forgot about them. I’m not too crazy about them, but it’s still neat world building and they could make for interesting villains if they were used more. Good old Red Rippa. I forgot almost everything about him, except that he fought Man-Of-Bats and Raven Red. I can barely even remember what he looks like, which is usually one of the things I remember the most about a character. Didn’t he have a bandanna around his head or something? I kind of get the argument that the members of the Club Of Villains seem like Bat-rogues from other parts of the world. Scorpiana is sort of like a more evil Argentinian Catwoman with her femme fatale personality and her cat-and-mouse game with El Gaucho. El Sombrero is sort of a Mexican Riddler with his specially crafted death traps. Charlie Caligula is basically Italian Maxie Zeus, with his… well, just about everything (I don’t really see any Joker parallels, except for maybe the design and his mania, but both are pretty different from the clown prince of crime). Pierrot Lunaire is sort of like a French version of the Mime with his mime gimmicks and the fact he never speaks. Le Bossu is kind of like a French Penguin, with his deformed outcast gang leader vibe. King Kraken is kind of like… I dunno, maybe Swedish Bane, since both are massive and strong, and their masks don’t have spaces for mouths and colored lenses cover their eyes. Swagman is sort of like… well, I haven’t really been able to come up with a one-to-one comparison for him. But it sort of makes sense. Roman mythology was similar to Greek mythology, so why not make the Italian supervillain king of crime be similar to the Greek-themed supervillain king of crime? By the way, we really need a gang war storyline between those two. It’d be one of the most hilarious and entertaining Batman stories ever. And for the rest, I think they’re different enough or have enough potential to work. It’s interesting that you didn’t originally care that much for them due to them seeming like copycats, but I’ve always loved them, even though I usually don’t like it when characters are ripoffs. In fact, my only problem was that the team didn’t have one villain for each hero in the Club Of Heroes. Legionary, Wingman, and Dark Ranger got one villain each, which makes sense, but for some reason El Gaucho and Musketeer each got two villains, and Knight and Squire and Man-Of-Bats and Raven Red got none until later. I like all the villains in the Club, but it still doesn’t make sense. Oh, well, if they ever return (which they really should), maybe they can fix that problem. And maybe Man-Of-Bats and Raven Red can get a villain that’s more than just passable.
I dunno. King Kraken has got a steampunk thing going on. Probably fits better In Batman’s world but he does look like a good reason for Batman and Aquaman to team up.
He also wasn’t important to Batman RIP’s overall story, not saying I don’t want to see him again or that Pufferfish has a bad idea, he has a pretty good idea
Well with the small eye holes the vision part of this might not work but... Diving suit powers enhanced strength though as he's a brute skip that sonar, radio, infrared mini jets in the boots for fast swimming miniharpoon wrist launchers bullet proof suit self contained breathing electric burst. Good luck Batsy.
King Kraken, i remenber seeing it briefly in a rank list, mistaken as an aquaman villain. This charactee sure have a great design and with a proper writing could become a top modern enemy for the cape crusader, even teaming up with other villains like Black manta
I remember him being rumored to show in Beware the Batman, but he never did. He would’ve been a cool addition, and him being a blank slate could’ve been a great opportunity for reinvention like Pufferfish did.

I think other water villains for batman and that area could be Great white shark or tiger shark but they are only kind of Mobsters so King Kraken would be great
Interesting that Batman's never had a water based villain despite how big his rogue's gallery is and Spider-Man whose rogue's gallery is neck and neck with Batman's has Hydro-Man and even Darkwing Duck an obvious parody of Batman has The Liquidator so it's interesting that Batman does not have his own Hydro-Man
Technically, we've gotten a FEW other aquatic Bat-villains who could fit the bill; there was, what was his name - Cap'n Stingaree, I think it was? Another underwater pirate guy. And there was someone called Tiger Shark, I think. They weren't located in Gotham Harbor specifically, but they were usually at least NEAR Gotham. (And while this isn't the harbor itself, I've always liked the idea that the Penguin's specific territory in Gotham is the waterfront. The '66 show had him in waterfront digs a time or two (most famously, of course, in the movie), and it worked pretty well, thematically speaking.)
I looked him up on the DC microhero wiki And yeah it couldn't hurt to make an episode for him in TAS or something like that. Maybe even change that no henchmen thing around a bit. Also there are some water themed villains such as Penguin with the submarine and Killer Croc
I honestly want him to stay swedish. [Bara för att jag är också svensk] But I agree this guy fit to be a common villain in Gotham and I bet he could be a very badass threat to Batman. He feels like a normal smart but more destructive Bane, because of that hulking figure. DC is wasting many cool villains. Some I like is Baby Doll and Punk Rocket.

He didn't have the panache of a King Kraken, but still got 10 times more chara development, not fair >_<
Imma stop now before writing another novel, but it's indeed nice to see other fans of the Club of Villains!
What's weird is that when they first showed up, I wasn't *that* crazy about them, as most seemed like Bat-rogues but from other parts of the world
(Caligula being a Joker wannabe for instance).
Swagman and King Kraken are both in Shovel Knight though.
On one hand, it's pretty cool that the Batmen of different nations have their own rogues
On the other hand, I want him as a Aquaman villian
Aquaman already had black manta
In my opinion, King Kraken would work better as an Aquaman villain. Maybe he and Bats can share him, like how Daredevil and Spider-Man share Kingpin
You know that actually reminds me how black manta spent part of his childhood in Arkham.
I dunno. King Kraken has got a steampunk thing going on. Probably fits better In Batman’s world but he does look like a good reason for Batman and Aquaman to team up.
Now that's the level of obsessive mania but still weirdly logical i want from new bat villains!!
This back story is literally me except my father was a trapper in addition to being a shrimp fishermen.
Honestly? I'd like to see this Pufferfish character handle other forgotten DC villains! Keep it up!
King Kraken: Henchmen are for wusses
*Basically becomes the henchmen of Dr. Simon Hurt*
Actually he was more of a teammate in Hurt’s club of villains as opposed to a henchmen
He also wasn’t important to Batman RIP’s overall story, not saying I don’t want to see him again or that Pufferfish has a bad idea, he has a pretty good idea
I think he said that to insult dr hurt
Absolutely. This guy can also bleed into the Aqua-man rogues gallery if he gets famous enough.
See, now I gotta make a LEGO figure of him…
Actually pretty good fan fiction lore. Seems more of an Aquaman rogue but Batman doesn't have a lot of water themed villians.
Extra points to Pufferfish fir making his real name Davy Jones, as in "locker".
Sounds more like a Aquaman villian
Well with the small eye holes the vision part of this might not work but...
Diving suit powers
enhanced strength though as he's a brute skip that
sonar, radio, infrared
mini jets in the boots for fast swimming
miniharpoon wrist launchers
bullet proof suit
self contained breathing
electric burst.
Good luck Batsy.
I'm putting in a Forgotten Super Villains profile request for the Elektra villain Bloody Lips.
He's also a Easter Egg in Arkham origins
King Kraken, i remenber seeing it briefly in a rank list, mistaken as an aquaman villain. This charactee sure have a great design and with a proper writing could become a top modern enemy for the cape crusader, even teaming up with other villains like Black manta
I remember him being rumored to show in Beware the Batman, but he never did. He would’ve been a cool addition, and him being a blank slate could’ve been a great opportunity for reinvention like Pufferfish did.
Yeah, weird
He has wonderful pontential indeed, heres a fun idea, you should like give people characters that dont have a good story like King Kraken and have us dat want to write a short summary for dem, winner gets you to read it on a vid.
I feel like this should have been an Aquaman villain.
Your friend has done some interesting things to expand on this character. I hope starts writing comics or something in the future.
I think other water villains for batman and that area could be Great white shark or tiger shark but they are only kind of Mobsters so King Kraken would be great
He can be a potential member of the Suicide Squad (hopefully he doesn’t get killed off instantly, that is)
Interesting idea
@@damianprock1650 absolutely

Interesting that Batman's never had a water based villain despite how big his rogue's gallery is and Spider-Man whose rogue's gallery is neck and neck with Batman's has Hydro-Man and even Darkwing Duck an obvious parody of Batman has The Liquidator so it's interesting that Batman does not have his own Hydro-Man
Killer croc
I looked him up on the DC microhero wiki
And yeah it couldn't hurt to make an episode for him in TAS or something like that. Maybe even change that no henchmen thing around a bit. Also there are some water themed villains such as
Penguin with the submarine and Killer Croc
croc is less water and ocean and more sewer and grime. penguin in some cases yeah
I remember this guy from brave and the bold
I agree with you!
No offense, dude. but I think he looks better as an enemy of Aquaman. Seriously, he needs more memorable villains.
I didn't know King kraken was so popular now huh the more you know 🤨😁
I honestly want him to stay swedish. [Bara för att jag är också svensk]
But I agree this guy fit to be a common villain in Gotham and I bet he could be a very badass threat to Batman.
He feels like a normal smart but more destructive Bane, because of that hulking figure.
DC is wasting many cool villains. Some I like is Baby Doll and Punk Rocket.
Am I stereotyping by thinking that this guy would get into a turf war with Black Manta if that guy ever showed up in the Gotham bay?
love it
Please make a video about Simon hurt
King Kraken and Scorpiana are the only characters from that Story that have any potential, including Simon Hurt.
He'd also be an Aquaman villain, right?
Mr Rogues Will this be a new video series of yours
Good afternoon! I really like your channel. If you are open to taking requests, I would like to suggest Top 10 Batman Supporting Characters and Top 10 Batman Love Interests.
How about King Kraken still a Batfoe and Orca a Aquafoe or both King Kraken and Orca as Aquafoes?
Hey Rogues. If Arkham Patient Sessions does return one day in the future would you still keep Hugo Strange as the dictator or replace with someone else new, like Dr. Simon Hurt?
I'd replace Strange with Dr Penelope Young or even Quincy Sharp
1:42 can someone please explain the hell Ned Kelly is doing in a Bateman comic?
Looks more like an Aquaman villain. Can we stop giving Batman villains and start giving other heroes villains. Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Supergirl, Superwoman, Wonder Woman, etc.
I barely remember King Kraken.
Wait isnt killer croc kind of a water themed villain. Also love the visual design
Not really I think...🤔
Killer croc’s For like the swamp and sewers and such, King kraken could be more of an open sea villain.

The biography rocks, but I don't like how he's another native Gothamite. I think its stronger if he was just from Sweden and moved there or something.
