It looks very similar to Ukrainian sopilka, minus the membrane. You don't put the whole top of it into your mouth, you press your top lip against flat butt of it 😉 I hope this helps
That's interesting. I don't think they were going for that though. I feel like they are just being lazy because this type of head is easier to make. I did start to shift my mouth lower as I figured that was easier.
❤So Happy to See you again! ❤ And Yeah I could tell that was fromthe OST of Narnia. But don't think I'd by it:) Interesting though. Thanks for the review.
I've been playing around with flutes and other wind instruments for a while, but never heard about the membrane thing. What's the purpose of it? I also get the feeling that you could make any flute sound good 😎
I bought on temu a dizi C key flute and i don't know why but the sound is so deeper than a normal dizi maybe its the membrane? I don't have so im using plastic
I know it’s out of tune and airy, but somehow you still manage to make it sound half-decent 😂

The tune at the end sounds very beautiful

It's what sets dizi apart from other transverse flutes. Gives it a buzzy sound. Works the same way as a kazoo diaphragm thing.
@@heartsonchannel That's very cool. I might take a drill to one of my old flutes and experiment with that.
I have a flute made out of a pipe maybe you can listen to it
Vertical (thus not horizontal).

A C key dizi is a low pitch dizi. If you'd like a higher pitch, you can try G or F key.
