James & the Violent Femmes hands down the best performers for the entire festival! Then again maybe I'm being a little biased since I was tripping balls for the first time in my life that Friday night having the time of my life!!!
I've watched like 6 different versions of this song in a row. This one was new to me, and one interesting detail stands out: I just love the sound of the hi-hat here.
I was working for James and was here on stage and I agree with the comments about James and the Violent Femmes And I saw All the stage crew bopping around to Hey Nonny Nonny and immediately after the set We Left because it was obvious that things were going very very wrong!!!!
I was at all of Woodstock 94, and on Friday the 12th, the most amazing performances for me were, Collective Soul, Jackyl and Sheryl Crowe, this guy lacked punch on that crazy night 🥰
