I still can not believe that those motor tractions still exists (on the first & second train in this video, the Anglia Class 317 I think). In New York (Where I am from) the NYC Subways stop using them in the late 1980's when I was growing up. It brings back memories with the sounds of them.
Those entire trains are 80s trains. They have been very well maintained and taken care off for decades , also their performance has been reliable until this day. Sadly they are finally getting taken off the uk lines, bit by bit. Those units are called class 317s.
@Kaithepro I like the 317s they just needed to refirbish the inside..but their gonna be scrapped anyway. Its like the class 321s they just needed a refirb and the insides cleaned . They likely don't get cleaned as much because they are getting taken off soon. So neglected basically
