Dont know how many times ive come back to this video... cor it takes me right back, all the dance tracks from the late 80s early 90s have something that just ignites your soul ! Good work fella
Cheers pal, you're right, there are some great tunes from that era. I've really enjoyed re-discovering old tracks and how they instantly remind me of clubbing back then. Good Times........ Messy...... But good 😁👍🏻
Cheers Phil, I really enjoy making them, especially knowing that they're helping other people get enjoyment out of learning them. I've never been able to read music.... tried a few times, but it still just looks like a spider's run across a sheet of paper, wearing diving boots 🎵🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🕷️😂 Playing by ear definitely has its benefits👂🏻 🎹
@@djrobo7903 thanks again, it's really appreciated. I'm enjoying the fact that other people are getting some use out of it, and by breaking the tracks down with not much waffle, they're pretty straightforward. Cheers pal 👍🏻
Belting tune, I've added to my list just now. I love the use of emojis 😂 I was just trying to work out where we used to go in emoji form.... ❤️ 🐝🐝 (Love2be) 😂
Excellent pal, it's definitely one of the most satisfying hobbies I've found, go for it. It's brilliant working out these old tunes and reminiscing...... Had some great times in the 90s clubbing to some of these classics 🎹 All the best amigo 👍🏻
@@rubberpiano oh man, dont get me started, 90s clubbing... this song was one of my all time faves... AND just ordered a digital piano... hopefully my old fat fingers remember the dance ;)
@@rubberpiano so the digital piano arrived, and omg I forgot just how much I used to love keyboards... side note, what possessed me to get a digital piano I’ll never know… given I’ve only ever played keyboards, and even then not classical trained … getting these old fingers to hit the keys consistently hard enough :-o anyway… quick feedback. @@mrtower7435 😂 yes, I do it on most tunes, use my little finger as the main bass note, then tap the rythym with my thumb, it just gives it a bit more going on
@andreww2818 interesting, not heard that track before. I wonder if it was just a popular sample around at that time, or might have been a synth preset. Either way, they definitely got their money's worth out of it on that track 👍🏻🎹😀

@@rubberpiano the piano is great... I was attempting the boogey woogey the other day, just the real simple one I knew in my teens, 2 sets of chords for each hand... the left hand rythm beat was easy enough, but for the life of me I couldnt remember the chords for the right hand... then astounded myself and my 5 year old who was watching, by closing my eyes and having a go, and like magic I remembered them... gotta love muscle memory :-)
@@mrtower7435 excellent, glad to hear you're enjoying getting back into it. Boogey woogey is another level of playing, so fair play. It's the Korg M1 piano
does it contain a sample of "A homeboy, a hippie and a funki dredd -total confusion"?
