Ok I'm all for criticism but the Rangers one doesn't make much sense. They're the 7th youngest team in the league. Should've pointed out the bad defense, Henrik isn't aging he just has a below mediocre defense in front of him, at least during last season that is.

Edmonton is funny to see in retrospect because there was the belief that we had the pieces but the question was if they would fit. McDavid is lighting it up with wingers that click with him, Talbot is Vezina-worthy goaltender (he was robbed), our defencemen move the puck in our zone, our roster depth is insane, we have big bodies that don't put up with crap plus we have a coach that knows bad games are learning experiences.

The Preds did beat two in the 2017 playoffs. Swept Chicago and sent the Blues home just as fast as Brian Elliott left them to go to Calgary. Now the Preds are in The Western Conference finals and won game 1 in OT. May I ask where is your team.

***** The thing with them is they've got the best GM for managing cap. That's why they've always been competitive, even if they didn't win every year. Until Keith, and a little more long term, Toews and Kane start declining, Hawks will always be competitive. It's just a matter of can they keep up the success all the way through June. Same with teams like Pittsburgh. Until Malkin, Crosby, Letang start declining, they'll always be contenders.

Its hard to tell who would win the cup in November but there are always guarantees in sports, the capitals will never make it to a conference final, the bengals will choke in the playoffs, the browns being the browns, Pittsburgh teams and injuries go hand in hand, and of course rick harrison will never know what is going to come through that door

I do think an eastern team will win this year again. Teams that look sharp this far: Rangers, Canadiens, Capitals, and the Penguins. Doesn't look like they're about to slow down. Blackhawks will have a chance too, I believe.

Even as a huge Leafs fan, I know they probably aren't making the playoffs this year. They need to finish the rebuild first. They've certainly taken steps in the right direction though.
